Weird. My Horde character has this achievement. But the main character for the Alliance does not have it, although the condition is fulfilled.

The last post explains everything, since in BfA profession skill/spells are counted separately for Alliance and Horde, you should have obtained your last skill-up on your most recent profession brought to 150 skill on the Alliance side to trigger the achievement.

To award it, all you have to do is log in on a character with a profession of skill level that isn't maxed (at least 149, but below 175), and get one more skill point (preferably by crafting an item that is colored in orange). This works if that character is Alliance, if it is Horde, just queue for Island Expeditions until you get on Ally side (either that or make an Alliance premade), and get the skill-up inside the expedition, your profession must not be either skinning or herbalism, for mining you can mine an Azerite node and for Blacksmithing if you don't have an anvil just craft the Void Focus.

I know this because I got both achievements on my main (for a total of 100 points), there is nothing unnatural/bugged here, it's just how the BfA profession system works - same thing applies to other achievements that are separate for Alliance and Horde.
