Shadowlands Dungeon Finder has a big problem,

Well, it's the same problem like the BfA Dungeon Finder, there is no reason to use it. Once players get most of the loot they need there is no need to use Normal/Heroic LFG.

In Legion Dungeon Finder had a daily Wakening Essence loot that was important even to the players with the best gear.

If the Heroic Dungeon Finder would reward Valor Badges for upgrading Mythic gear it would give a reason for players to play more Heroic LFG. I think farming the daily legendary currency had something to do with the 7k logged players compared to the 1-1.5k players the play today.

True that, there is way less of an incentive for older players with gear to que so the que times for dungeon finder are dead for the new players.

All the way to Legion Dungeon Finder had a daily reward more important than gear.

In WoTLK when they added Dungeon Finder everyone said why use it to play with random players. Well, here are some Justice Points for epic gear and everyone was farming the points for gear. Why was Legion even better? It had daily rewards for Legendary gear. Why was BfA bad? It had no daily rewards. Yea, it had Azerite but who needs that? So nobody was playing Heroics dungeons. Dungeons are a very important part of WoW and nobody was playing. Same story with Shadowlands, daily reward is Anima as much as a WQ. It has no incentive to play. Player with better iLvl than Heroics don't have anything to gain and players that need gear from Heroics can't play.

I know it wasn't Freaks fault that player count dropped to 1k in BfA and Legion topped 7k. In BfA there wasn't anything to play for. In Legion even players with max ilvl gear played Dungeon Finder because they wanted more Legendary Gear.

Freaks should replace the Anima reward with 35-50 Valour points to get the Dungeon Finder rolling again. Right now Heroic Dungeon Finder is dead...
