I'm pretty sure Blizzard modified Stoneform at the begggining of Castle Nathria to not work on some specific Boss bleeds and some other stuff.Because Shriekwing and some other bosses had bleed mechanics and suddenly a bunch of horde guilds switched to alliance to get that good racial only to get an Advantage in the World First Race.So all in all blizz modified Stoneform in some way shape or form to not work on some bleeds but i do not know exactly which so there is that.
