How to create a Counter-Strike 1.6 Server [Windows] [Steam]

1.Download fisiere necesare
- HLDSUpdateTool -> http://www.steampowered.com/download/hldsupdatetool.exe
- AMX Mod X -> http://sourceforge.net/project/downloading.php?groupname=amxmodx&&filename=amxmodx-1.76c-base.zip&&use_mirror=switch

2.Instalarea serverului

a) Mai intai trebuie sa faci un folder nou, fa-l in C:\ cu acest nume : HLDS.
b) Acum porneste hldsupdatetool.exe si instaleazale si D:\HLDS.
c) Acum trebuie sa faci un shortcut la HldsUpdateTool.exe (din D:\HLDS - click dreapta pe icon si selecteaza "create Shortcut"). Acum am facut shortcutul (cu numele "Shortcut to HldsUpdateTool.exe"). Din nou, click dreapta pe icon (dar pe iconul shortcut), selecteaza Proprietati si la ultimul cuvant de la Target trebuie sa adaugi urmatoarea linie: ”-command update -game cstrike -dir .” (fara "" - ghilimele, dar cu . - punct).
d) Acum executa Shortcut to HldsUpdateTool.exe si asteapta aproximativ 30 de minute - o ora (downloadeaza fisierele necesare)
e) Dupa download, ai serverul, dar acum trebuie sa instalezi AMX Mod X pentru a merge bine.

3.Creaza server.cfg

a) Prima data, dute in D:\HLDS\cstrike si acolo creaza un fisier nou "New Text Document.txt"

c) Acum salveaza, iesi si redenumeste-l in: server.cfg

4. Instalarea AMX Mod X

a) Dupa ce downloadezi AMX Mod X trebuie sa-l instalezi oriunde.
b) Dupa ce-l instalezi te intreaba daca accepti sa ruleze instalarea, selecteaza Yes, si acum apas butonul Next, selecteaza "I Accept terms", si apasa Next. Acum trebuie sa selectezi tipul serverului, selecteaza "Select mod directory" si apasa Next. Va aparea o fereastra noua. Acum trebuie sa selectezi D:\HLDS\cstrike. Dupa asta, in josul ferestrei aparute mai devreme, selecteaza "Custom game addon". Aici selecteaza "Counter-Strike" si apasa Next.
c) Acum apare o noua fereastra care intreaba ”The file libilist.gam couldn`t be found. Continue installations ?", la care selectezi yes.
d) Ai instalat AMX Mod X.

5. Pornirea Serverului

a) Dute in D:\HLDS, click dreapta pe hlds, selecteaza Create shortcut.
b) Acum ai ” Shortcut to hlds.exe”, click dreapta pe ea, dute la Proprietati, si la ultimul cuvant de la Target adauga urmatoarea linie:

-console -game cstrike -pingboost 3 +sys_ticrate 1000 +heapsize 250000  -port 27015 -autoupdate +secure +sport 27014 +ip IP +maxplayers no. player  +map de_dust2

c) Pentru a porni serverul dai dublu click pe Shortcut to hlds.exe

Asta-i tot !

Acum poti incepe sa configurezi serverul de la: D:\HLDS\cstrke\addons\amxmodx\configs\amxx.cfg si plugins.ini

Acum ai un server de Counter-Strike 1.6 !

d) Now execute the Shortcut to HldsUpdateTool.exe and wait approximate 30 minutes at 1 hour (this download all file we need)
e) After download we heve the server, but now we most to install AMX Mod X for running good.

3. Create server.cfg

a) First go to D:\HLDS\cstrike and there create a new file ” New Text Document.txt”
b) Copy in this file next:

c) Now save, exit and rename file as: server.cfg

4. Installing AMX Mod X

a) After download AMX Mod X first most install them anywher.
b) After install he ask if we accept to run the installer, select yes, and now we click on Next button, select ”I Accept terms.” and click Next button, now we most select server type, we select ”Select mod directory” and press the Next button and now will appear a new window, first most select mod directory (we select D:\HLDS\cstrike), after at down of window most slect ”Custom game addon” there select ”Counter-Strike” and click Next button.
c) Now will appear a new window who ask ”The file libilist.gam couldn`t be found. Continue installations ?” we select yes.
d) Now we have installed AMX Mod X.

5. Start the server

a) We most go into D:\HLDS and right click on hlds, select Create shortcut
b) Now we have ” Shortcut to hlds.exe”, right click on this and at last word from target most add next line:

c) To start the server now we just make a duble cick on Shortcut to hlds.exe.

That`s all !

Now you can start to configurate your server from: D:\HLDS\cstrke\addons\amxmodx\configs\amxx.cfg and plugins.ini

Now you have a Counter-Strike 1.6 Server !

Tutorial copiat !

Si varianta in limba engleza si cea in limba romana sunt copiate ! Iar ceea ce ma deranzeaza este ca Unknown Hero se da drept autorul tutorialului (in engleza) cand este facut 100% de mine si postat numai pe forumul de mai sus ! Iar cel in romana este tradus de cancel <3 awp (tot user de pe forumul de mai sus) nu de Unknown Hero cum zice el.

Sper sa se ia in considerare acest post.

Asta da din una din urmatoarele cauze:
1. Ai deja un HLDS pornit cand vrei sa il pornesti
2. Ai CS-ul pornit cand vrei sa pornesti serverul
3. Ai alt program care are un listen server pe portul 27015
4. Nu ai inlocuit bine IP-ul in linia de comanda la +ip

Pai nici nustiu ce sati spun...niciodata nam reusit sa fac un server CS...la mine nimeni nu reuseste sa intre....dar cei interesant..tot CS care il am eu..install il dau lu un prieten si lui ii reuseste...apare kiar si in Internet... fara ai adauga nimik ...la mine numi reuseste cu nimik...orice server nas face... tot timpu ista perdut mia venit in cap o idee..poate e din cauza IPului?? Altceva nu pare a fi.. =(
