Auction House fee

Bug description: Auction house fee is too much, 15% for now, should be 5% since Draenor expansion. All Auction Houses are cross-faction on retail with 5% fee.

yup normal ah fee should be 5% but it is 15% plz fix this as fast as possible

Also, when you place some items for auction (like weapons and armor, not cloth and reagents) the fee you see is not the real fee you will pay (which is double or triple), thus you may end up losing gold when auctioning expensive items.

It's currently 15% because the auctioneers you see in major cities are copied from the neutral cities's ones (ratchet, bb, etc), this is to ensure a certain market by enabling cross faction AH. Theorically, the 15% fee is intented because of that. It's a recurring topic and so far is has been proven that it isn't that necessary if we consider the reason there is an auctioneer fee.

As for the deposit price, there's actually bug report on this : https://forum.wow-freakz.com/auction-house-is-a-tief-t471890.html

I didn't solve anything but atleast i shared what i know. =)

Thank you for the new info on the subject. That topic is closed and we still have a problem with auction house deposit fees, so maybe someone from the staff will post something about it.

It would make sense to make it 5% globaly, if you just copied the npcs, because we are basicaly forced to pay the extra with no alternatives, I would rather have smaller customer base, than pay thousands of gold in proccess as a daily trader.
