Hunter PvP Guide


I was thinking about making this guide because many players dont know which talents should they use..which pets etc when a new expansion comes out:

PVP BUILDS:

Marksmanship PVP MOVEMENT Spec - Best spec and most used spec as a Marks hunter.
Marksmanship PVP DMG Spec - Highly Damage spec,but it's recommended to use it only when u can ''masterpiece'' the art of movement as a hunter..if u have problems with movement,especially vs melle,it's not recommended to use it.
Beast Mastery PVP PET DMG BASED Spec - Killing Streak wasn't chosen bcuz it's a rng talent.
Beast Mastery PVP MOVEMENT Spec - Same infos like the Marks movement spec.
Survival PVP spec

Monkey/Spider pvp spec 1 I'd rather recommend this spec,for Owl's Focus(30% chance to make next pet attack cost no focus).
Monkey/Spider pvp spec 2 Spiked Collar spec - 9% increased damage @ pet.

As a hunter in PVP u will need the followings: 2 Monkeys,1 Wolf,1 Cat,1 Spider(or Sporebat). Monkeys for the Roar of Sacrifice & the 4 sec Blind,Cat & Wolf for buffs,and Spider(in case of problems vs melles) or Sporebat( in case of caster fights).REMEMBER: The 5th pet isn't for use everytime,only in hard situations.(PS: 5th pet is the spider or sporebat)


Professions: Ench/Jwl,Bs/Jwl,Engi/Jwl,Ench/BS,Engi/BS,LW/ENGI,Tailor/BS,tailor/jwl etc.

PVP Spell Pen CAP: 195(Cloak enchant+2x 63 spell pen sockets).

RESILIENCE IN PVP AS A HUNTER:
- You will not need to play at high resilience cap,it's enough to have at least 4400 resilience in patch 4.3.
- If you will play with 2t13 without a PVE trinket you will stay at least at 4250/4300 resilience.
- If you will play with 2t13 + a PVE trinket(as a human) you will need to get some resil sockets(best is,in yellow slots to put http://www.wowhead.com/item=71878 to maintain a decent resilience rate;So you will try to hit at least 4000-4100 resilience.
- PvE weapon switch(If,for example you use PvP weapon,but when enemies don't attack/disarm you,it's time to switch weapon,and for ex you have http://www.wowhead.com/item=78473 keep it only till the proc goes down or until the enemies are switching on you,then change it with the PVP one,because u will be low resil.
- Another choice as Horde,is to go with 2t13 + http://www.wowhead.com/item=73538 (Yes,the medallion that gives you crit chance instead of resil,it will give you like 3.0% crit chance; This choice is only yours,i suggest it to use only if u can maintain 4200 resil at least(with it equiped).
- Vishanka, Jaws of the Earth - It is a ''***'' weapon in PVP as a hunter(don't get me wrong,i'll explain why),because the bow proc can usually proc from scatter,silencing shot, etc and can break your cc so easily. It's not recommended to use it(only if u can be extremely careful with his DoT),better use t2 Cata bow or hc crows from Zon'ozz.

Disc/Hunter ( It's ok at full gear only,but don't think the matches vs healer/dps will be that short)

PVP REFORGE PRIORITY: Hit cap(5%)->Spell pen cap(195.)->Agility->Crit->Mastery->Haste.


WYRMSTALKER GEAR HINT:

In 4.3 as hunter PVP,u will need the t13 2p Bonus (that is vry op).
Pieces that u need: #1 Shoulders+Pants (if u dont have those,u can play with others like head + pants or what u have,but be sure to have 2 pieces of the set)

What the bonus does? It doubles the amount of focus gained by Steady Shot(MM) & Cobra Shot (BM/SV). That means,instead of 9(normal focus gained,without any talents etc) u will get 18. That is a huge thing for hunter in pvp.
Also another good thing about the Pants & Shoulder pieces from the wyrmstalker set is that u can reforge the haste(from shoulders) or the mastery(from pants) in HIT RATING. So after that u can reforge the pvp pieces HIT into CRIT. And u will get vry high crit chance.

ADVANCED TRAPPING GUIDE


As a hunter in PVP traps are very important.
1.1 You have 5 tips of traps(Each of them lasts for 1 minute):

Freezing Trap - Keeps the enemy CC-ed for 8 seconds.(in PVP). Breaks from damage.
Ice Trap - Within 10 yards,players will be slowed by 50% while in the area of effect.
Immolation Trap - A trap that deals fire damage,per ticks.
Explosive Trap - An aoe trap that deals fire damage,within 10 yards.
Snake Trap - A trap that will release several venomous snakes to attack the player.The snakes can apply many poisons to the target(such as 30% increase cast time,50% reduced slow speed,damage over time)

1.2 In PVP at this time,the most used are Freezing Trap,Ice Trap and Snake Trap. The fire ones doesn't even matter.
2.0 With the https://www.wow-freakz.com/spells.php?spell=19387 (wowhead link); Snake Trap and Ice Trap will root the targets in place preventing them from moving for 4 sec.

2.1 There are many ways to get a Freezing Trap on an enemy in Arena or Dueling/Battleground,the ways are the following:

1. Trapping after a Scatter Shot.
2. Trapping after a Bad Manner(Monkey Blind).
3. Trapping after an Concussive Shot.(This is a bit harder than the first two,because u will need to know the direction of your target that u want to trap,and when he's slowed and he moves into that direction,throw the trap into his face and he will get it). REMEMBER,if it's not done corectly,the target can escape easy from this way.
4. Trapping after an CC from ur parteners such as Cyclone,Hammer of Justice,Repentance,Bash(Bear stun),Blind,Cheap Shot,Kidney Shot,Gouge,Sap,etc.
5. Trapping when the player stays in place and casts an spell. This is the hardest way possible,u have like 50% chances to miss this trap if u want to try this way,it's very risky,but it works if the player forgets to move faster away.
6. Trapping after Entrapment(Root). For example,Place Snake Trap near the target and then use Freezing Trap;The target won't move when he will be rooted so he will take the trap.

REMEMBER: If u want to trap after an cyclone u must wait until the duration of the cyclone will be 1.5 or 1 sec.Keep in ur mind that traps need 1 sec to arm after it lands.U can loose ur trap easy if u don't do this corectly.

Also, Repentance,Gouge,Sap shares DR with Freezing Trap; Ur target will stay in trap for only 4 seconds after one of these CC's if u use the trap immediately after one of those.

Keep in mind too,that if ur opponents are good enough,they will try to take ur traps for their parteners to save them from being CC'ed. U can stop them using Concussive Shot,Entrapment Root,Monkey Blind,Wing Clip. For example u will try to Monkey blind the enemy that wants to take the trap and in that time u will scatter-trap his healer,or Root the enemy with trap and scatter-trap the healer.

Cea mai buna care si in cataclysm este cum a fost si pe wotlk este Orc.
Dar ca o clasificare in mare(cataclysm):
Human->Orc->Worgen->Troll->Dwarf/Goblin->Undead/Nelf.

Depinde de spec-ul pe care preferi sa joci mie intotdeauna mi-a placut BM...e chiar amuzant sa iti vezi adversari down in 5 sec ... cu cataclysmul se schimba multe ...so let's see

Mai bun dar mai greu de jucat
=> Nu mai esti limitat de mana ( Spre exemplu nu iti mia trebuie Retri pala la fiecare raid ca tu ramai fara si scade dps-ul cu aspect of Viper) => PvE
=> Nu iti mai trebuie Macro-uri stresante cu potiuni de mana si FD ( + nu mai cheltuiesti banii pe ele )
=> Skill cap ridicat doar din simplu fapt ca trebuie sa gandesti inainte, nu mai poti spama...pana ramai fara Focus ( Prin asta se diferentiaza cei buni )
=> Sunt alte mechanics-uri si in PvE si in PvP ... o sa fie ca si cum ai juca altceva dar ramane de vazut

Cat despre petul monkey ,abilitatea lui functioneaza ca si blind-ul de la rogue deci daca targetu are un dot ...va fii total inutil gen piercing shots tot crab-ul mi se pare petul suprem ptr hunter dar nu aici ca din pacate e o problema cu skillul Charge , cand il dai petu retrage de langa target instant inapoi.

Aici greseti, pe 4.0.6 abilitatea de la monkey nu e sparta de damage, asta a fost fixed doar pe 4.1.

Crabu e shity lame in arene,and degeaba e el petu suprem in pvp,pentru ca toti hunterii aia "zei" care isi fac pvp movies gen Brang(no hate,n-am nimic cu el dar el numai bg footage face),n-au reusit nimic in arene,daca pe wotlk n-au facut-0 in cataclysm zac la low rate,singurul care a progresat si inca progreseaza e Braindeadly, nu toti care se filmeaza in bgs.
