Because that's exactly the same "Bug" that makes runic corruption give you 100 % attack speed

I wouldn't call it a bug , it's just that there is no attack speed , rune regen , there's only HASTE so anything that gives attack speed rune regen or casting speed just gives haste , and if I had to guess it's something that's not coded yet

All tanking debuffs that reduce attack speed eg: Frost Fever, Earth Shock, Thunder Clap, Judgements of the Just, Infected Wounds,etc... in pvp also increase rune regen time, reduce focus/energy regen. And this is how it's meant to be.

Confirm. I'm a hunter and I can say for sure: listed above debuffs reduce focus regen, this is not seen in char sheet info, but in fact - it is so!

Confirm,it doesn't say rune regen is reduced,only attack speed should be reduced.

Press Ctrl+F and search for Rune Recharge.

According to that website, pvp debuffs such as Earth Shock that reduce attack spped are not applied to the rune regeneration system, however similar debuffs (on PvE) does affect the rune regeneration system.

Talents like Improved Icy Talons should not increase rune regeneration speed, only certain buffs that give extra attack speed (such as heroism) does affect the rune regeneration system.

In conclusion, attack speed pvp debuffs should not affect the rune regeneration system.

Not 100% but as far as i know everything that slows attack speed should reduce rune regen...

Unfortunately, everything that slows your attack speed hits twice as hard. Remember the green stuff in ICC that slowed haste by 250%? Get hit by that and your rune recharge goes way beyond 30s. Even a simple Thunderclap can easily add 2-3s to your rune recharge. The effects just seem to be fixed negative numbers. So the -250% haste from malleable ooze would translate to: 1+(-250/100) = -1.5 but ehh, that doesn't really make any sense at all. So back to higschool math...
The negative haste will not be used the same way as the positive haste formula. Here's how it goes, it's pretty clear if you think about it. Instead of dividing the recharge like we did with positive modifiers we have to do the oposite: multiply.
So here comes the line for adding the haste malus:

    Multiply fixed %haste malus: (1 + (hastemalus1% / 100)) * (1 + (hastenalus2% / 100)) etc.
    for Malleable Ooze: 250% = 1+ (250/100) = 3.5
    Calculate rune recharge: Recharge * Malus = Final Recharge
    with above numbers: 10s / 1.518138 * 3.5 = 23.055s


Luckily this only applies to some PvE debuffs and this has no effect for pvp.

Works only in PvE and here, on Freakz, doesn't work.
Tested with Thunderclap (wowhead link) and Rune Regeneration doesn't increas from 7.56 to 9.38 as It should be.
