[FIXED] [Death Knight] [Unholy] Necrotic Strike

Bug description: the tooltip says it should convert a festering wound into a necrotic wound.
So as a dk when you apply festering wound on a target you should have 2 options: either you pop them with scourge strike for dmg or you convert them into healing absorption with necrotic strike. Here on freakz necrotic strike does both things at the same time.
Proof: Easy to test ingame.

then how does the necrotic strike pops the unholy frenzy stacks?

Well unholy frenzy procs from wound bursts, but here necrotic strike works like scourge strike, so every talent that works with scourge strike works with necrotic as well. It even works with castigator which doesn't even mention about necrotic strike.
Anyway we can wait for someone to test it on blizz.

Are you sure necrotic should give you stacks of soul reaper, because I found this video where the dk is spamming necrotic the entire arena and he only used scourge strike to get soul reaper stacks. https://youtube.com/watch?v=cNylmwv287o:

okay, i couldn`t find the video i have posted. It was about Mes (blizzcon winner, one of the best dks ever), which played Necrotic Strike spec the whole 7.1.5 and 7.2.5 patches. In that video it was clearly that he only popped soul reaper and unholy frenzy via Necrotic strike, himself said that necrotic strike does overall more damage than a single scourge strike in one of its guides (damage + absorb + necrotic wound pop). Quicksand can proof my sayings too because he watched the video before fixing.

i believe that's NOT HOW IT SHOULD WORK.

necrotic strike always CONVERTS wound into healing absorb... it should not burst it...

or that's how i always seen it happen...

I checked a lot of videos from 7.1.5, sadly couldn't find Mes' video, since it was removed, but every video I found made it look like Necrotic Strike should not burst Festering Wound, only convert it.

Now I know that retail is 7.3.2 as of now, but even though I had to check, and I confirmed it with a friend, atm on retail, it does not proc either Bursting Sores, nor Unholy Frenzy, nor Soul Reaper.

I am not sure what was in that video @Amnezx but for now I'm going to revert that fix. If you can find another video as proof, please create another topic, because I only found videos from 7.1.5 (jan-feb) where it didn't proc :/
