Bug description: For an unknown reason i cannot progress through.

Confirmed. Moved to quests section.

Tanned stonehide leather 136539 is required to craft Stonehide leather strip but Tanned stonehide leather spell provide Tanned Stonehide leather 130870 and thus the quest cannot be completed because it's two different items.

I have the same problem and after telling Freakz support that it failed even with all addons disabled, they told me to try with addons disabled. Is there a language problem here?

After raising it again, they said just wait for a fix, but it looks like the bug has been rejected because they think it is all about standing too far away.

How do we get this taken seriously?

I don't know, but now we can telling again, again, again, NOT the rack and the object the problem! ADMINS! Pls , try this quest, and if you can do, tell us HOW.

I have the same Problem and i can't solve it.

I have no Addons,
abandon and restart the quest didn't work,
logoff and logon doesn't help.

Seems to be a real bug to me.

The most annoying thing is that 27 players somehow completed this quest. This is not the first broken quest that some people somehow completed. The database has become unreliable.

Well, same here.
It was allready reported here: https://forum.wow-freakz.com/leatherworking-Quest-Over-your-Head-t490056.html the 18th but it was marked as duplicate for this post (created the 19th ) , but anyway, its still bugged and as stated the problem is :

See, in my inventory, I have the Tanned Stonehide Leather, yet in my profession tab, it lists as 0/1. Why? Because it requires a version of this item that stacks to 10* (top item description window), instead of the ID of the item that stacks to 100* (bottom description window, it's what I linked in chat, and what the recipe currently demands). ^.- This is why you can make the linings, but not the strips. ^.-

Two of them. Wonder why. ^.- First one (https://www.wow-freakz.com/item_finder.php?item=130870&&name=tanned-stonehide-leather) should be the required item for making strips.
