Launcher errors - possible fix, please test

This is regarding the issues you guys are having installing microsoft visual studio redistributables. I have made a launcher which shouldn't require the redistributables anymore, please download this https://www.wow-freakz.com/wow/legion/launcher_23420.zip and use launcher_freakz.exe.

Also please read https://forum.wow-freakz.com/WoW-Legion-client-download-t452441.html, the Errors at launch part which shows solutions for most launcher errors

I'm happy for the players that can play the game after this fix, but this doesn't solve it for the ones that get the Win32 related error from the launcher. We were given a link to this page on the forum that's why I'm giving feedback here.

What error is that? And.. with the NEW launcher?

Please tell us more info, if you keep giving us short answers "omg doesnt work" we can't help you. Show screenshot, tell us your Windows version, etc.

Hello, i'm having an issue while trying to log into the PTR.

I use your launcher, login into the server but after 15 seconds i get kicked out, saying that i didn't use your launcher to log in: http://imgur.com/omLZQ8t

This is the error i get when the server kicks me out: http://imgur.com/csD4vw5

Notice that when i click on the launcher to start the client, this window opens: http://imgur.com/7yGk2Vt (here you can also see that i click on the launcher to log in and not on the wow.exe)
After that the clients starts regurarly but when i actually log into the server i get kicked out like shown above.

Info about the system: i have a regularly licensed Windows 7, latest upated done on the 16/03/2017 (so just a few days ago) and i have Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable (x86) - 14.0.24215

Additionally, when i try to open the .zip that Shocker uploaded on top of this post, i get this Winrar error: http://imgur.com/y2jYaZK
It says that it's impossible to create launcher_freakz-64.exe into the Wow_Legion folder, becasue the acces is denied. This would explain the warning that i showed with the 3rd screenshot.

Any ideas on how to proceed? Thanks in advance.

Well, the reason for it kicking you is obviously because the launcher is NOT started since you dont even have the launcher_freakz64.exe. Maybe your antivirus blocks it, disable antivirus.

If you can't figure it out, just delete wow64.exe and you will play the normal 32bit version of the game

It was indeed the antivirus that for some reason literally didn't let me drop the launcher_freakz64.exe into the legion folder lol. Never happened before. Anyways, it all works fine now, thanks for the help.
