Leaving battlegrounds results in ban ?

I just saw server annouce someone being banned for 7 days for reason : deserter . I mean , leaving battleground in a normal way and getting 15 min deserter is now a bannable offense ? We are forced to play, stay in battlegrounds where they farm our graveyard otherwise we are done ? or what that ban reason was supposed to mean ? This is realy unsettling

i am scared for my life now.

Being AFK for multiple battlegrounds (not showing activity) will make us give those players a 7 days long deserter debuff.

No need to create drama. That guy got banned because he was avoiding the anti-afk system.
