PvE healer class?

I want to make a PvE healer on this server, but I'm not too sure which class to roll? I was thinking of makig a rdruid, because its the only class I haven't tried (played the others previously on wotlk). With druid I could also tank if I felt like a change.
But I hear that druids are mediocre at healing and tanking (PvE)? Any thoughts on rdruids and other healing classes this expansion?

The healing classes are pretty balanced , about the dudu tank , it's just as good as the blood dk.

I don't know who said druids are average at healing and tanking, but they are totally wrong. Dudu heal beats, by far, ANY other healer class at aoe when played well, and of course, with gear. Tanking as a druid is discussible regarding its efficiency, but he's still good at it.

My personal opinion: Druid Restoration, but the point is that you choose which class you like.

#1) Resto Shaman (obviously my favourite)
-Strongest single target healing spell that doesn't have a cooldown - Greater Healing Wave (35 - 150k+ heal)
-E1337 hax0r cooldown totem that all PvP players hate - Spirit Link totem;
-Pretty good AoE with Healing Rain (the main healing spell in ~5/8 DS fights);
-Bunch of buffs with totems and talents (+10% (on retail) HP, here it stacks with itself so it's more than 10%);
-Only one (and a half) HoT, but shaman doesn't depend on them anyway.
-Also, did I mention totems?

#2) Resto Druid with good gear and medium to good class and tactics knowledge (Skillz to be short).
-#1 AoE healer on the patch afaik.
-Relies on HoTs, has two OK-ish direct healing spells.
-Idk, I play only a Rshaman

#3) Holy Paladin with medium gear and medium to good skillz.
#3.5) Holy priest with good gear and good skillz.

#4) Rdudu with poor gear.


#9) Discipline Priest:
- Renew?
- Doesn't heal, he ABSORBS.

If you feel like playing druid then play druid. It's pointless to play class which is strong but you don't like it. At the end, fun is what we are looking for in this game.

that is completely wrong
Resto druid is one of the best healing classes available. U can easily surpass any other class in any encounter(maybe except Yorsahj, shamy is too overpowered there)
Also the feral druid is, imo, the best tanking class on freakz. Unlike the dk, which may take less damage, u don't get bored while playing feral.
The druid is one of my favourite classes

Anyway, you should play the class that you enjoy the most. Just be sure to try them all before you decide

if you whant somthing simple , try Shaman resto
if you whant somthing Fun , try Prist Disc
if you whant a tank and a healer , try druid
if you whant a healer and DPS , try Pala Holy

If you master rdruid you Will be online top of recounts, maybe you Will struggle to surpass priest.

I played only rdruid and holy paladin ..and both classes are very good ,but with resto druid its a lot more easier to play...

At the end, only thing that matter, is that you have fun, all classes are viable so it doesnt really make big difference what class you pick

Resto shaman isn't simple, it's very easy to go oom, and Disci priest isn't fun because all you do is shield people and spam Smite, and you can't even have 100% cast time in a fight (you can't go through the fight casting ALL the time) as a Shaman can.

for me.... resto shaman>prist holy>pala holy>resto druid

resto druids are the most fun healer calss to play, and on top of that if you can play it well you can top recount no problem

Im just going to stick my 2 cents in here, NO, NO, NO, NO. Priests are ofc my favorite class, But PvE holy beats resto dudu by FAR when it comes to AoE. We have so much AoE spells in our library its un real. That's what makes us the best AoE healers if played well. I been outheal once by a resto drood by 8% in fl and that was back when I was around 390, He was full heroic, So I think I made my point.
