I'm having the same issue. He won't move and there's no interaction text to that does anything at all:

I wanted to update this to state that I was able to start the escort by selecting "Please, show me where the tidestone lies". If you have selected anything else prior, you need to close the window and reopen it, ensuring that this is the first thing you click.

As you can see even on youtube you need to click "Please, show me where the tidestone lies" to start the escort.
