Bug description: Frozen orb mechanics are faulty for a few days now,
1. It does not seem to follow NPCs anymore but players if any are around (be they friendly or not)
2. It has the same speed (slow) for its full duration, it should have a much higher speed until reaching a target, it really affects the rotation on max range.

Also on the Tsulong fight in ToES my frozen orb passes through the boss and doesnt start doing damage, this issue is fairly recent (around 2-3 weeks).

Quest Objective: Spread cancer all over Freakz.
Quest Status: Quest failed

What? I dont see any issue in the videos you posted. It has a high speed until it starts to deal damage to those training dummies, then it moves much slower. What am I missing?

But that is not all that important, and it may be related to the first point, that somehow the ball wanders off affected by other entities.

In that case the ball slows down before reaching the dummy (a player was between me and the dummy), hits just once on the dummy and then wanders off to another player on the right side.

Its usually easier to see it during encounters but I cannot film there.
In some occasions where i stand at max range the ball sometimes never reaches the boss. On other occasions where i stand close to boss, it just passes through with standard speed and slows down a few yards after.

Not true. It slows down as soon as it DAMAGES something, not as soon as it "reaches a target". That's also the case in the video you posted, I don't see any bug

I stand by my opinion that the orb speed should be higher while traveling to the target.

What about this one? It's clear that something is wrong with the orb's traveling, it hits the dummy once, and then just leaves in another direction.

You barely get 1 hit with the orb in an encounter.

Leaves in another direction? What are you talking about? That doesn't happen, it simply continues it's path but with a much slower speed

Frozen orb, a 10 second spell
- wastes 2-3 second travelling (on all blizz videos, it has a way higher travel speed, and reaches the target in 1 second, even at max range)
- hits once (....)
- leaves the target and spends the next 5-6 seconds wandering about in what clearly is not the same direction (unless almost perpendicular counts as same direction)

So you get one shot instead of what should be a guaranteed 9-10 shots, provided you point the orb correctly.
The same happens in boss fights too.

From what he says i understant that the orb should follow the enemy like a creature il following you while attacking,instead in just goes in 1 direction and if the enemy moves the orb is useless.

That's the point. As a pvp perspective, you should be able to dodge the orb, if it's following you, you can't do shit. Check pvp vids & so on, orb shouldn't follow targets, it should move slower when it starts to damage sth.

Note that im talking mostly in PVE perspective on this ticket but

- You should be able to dodge the frozen orb, not actually outrun it (unless you have a massive speed buff like rockets)

- It should slow when it damages something, true, but I've seen it a hundred times slowing without hitting anything. Currently the mage can outrun its orb in under 30 yds with no speed buff in numerous occasions

- On a stationary target, the orb should have more than 1 hit as posted in my video.
- In PVE, on targets with large hitbox, the orb simply passes through with 1-2 hits.
- On target dummies, after reaching its target, it changes direction and continues moving, thus the number of hits on target is not satisfactory.

i tested out he target dummies part it does not happen to me.
The amount fingers of frost proc https://www.wow-freakz.com/spells.php?spell=112965&&name=fingers-of-frostis little random according to me sometimes its 2 or 3 procs othertimes it does like 6 or 7 procs

This happens to me @ Tsulong every single time for about 2-3 months now, we pull the boss i get my procs up i launch the orb and it just goes through tsulong without *activating*, doesnt do any dmg, doesnt slow down, just goes the full distance at high speed then disappears.
