In these posts of dreadblade he didnt mentioned about the part that the spells that benefit from spell power in the protection spec they dont work as for retribution spec they are working well(in my opinion)

If you choose to play at this spell -Eternal Flame replaces Word of Glory and also provides a Heal over Time. The effectiveness of the initial heal + HoT is benefited by the passive ability Guarded by Light which converts Attack Power into Spell Power. The massive amounts of AP we get from our Vengeance passive (which all tanks have) means EF heals for a very high amount - sometimes for our full health pool, and the HoT ticks for a significant amount. Our Mastery also increases the effectiveness of Bastion of Glory (which we gain whenever we cast ShoR) meaning more Mastery directly equates to stronger EFs + HoTs.

I'd also like to add-on to the WoG bugs with a couple of my own: WoG should never consume more than 3 holy power,yet it drains the whole thing,regardless of how much i have. It also doesn't care if i have Bastion of Glory or not,tested with 5 stacks and without 5 stacks,same amount. Eternal Flame on the other hand does use up Bastion of Glory...to reduce the healing amount.

I haven't tested the heal over time on Eternal flame,because if the main heal ain't working,then the heal over time is the least of everyone's worries and because i was too lazy to do it. Still,i think this should be enough to prove it needs a look.

Guarded by the Light works. It is just a visual bug.
