Bug description: I completed the [Prison of the Forgotten] quest, i already have the runeforging for legendary items, but the quest is stuck in my questlog. I'm not sure if that will cause any trouble moving further into the chapters.

I did not face any issues by completing and proceeding the quests after at an earlier date and now while testing specifically for your issue.

Did this cause any trouble for you? Although it may likely be fixed after a relog.

No issue (so far). The quest is just in my questlog after completing it, and i'm afraid that abandoning it could cause any trouble. Should i leave it there? Abandon?

The quest is STUCK at my questlog. I did complete it months ago, but it's still in my log/map.

EDIT: I opened a ticket at the moment and whoever answered it adviced me not to abandon it, should i?

Hello,

Your character has already completed and turned in the quest in question.

Abandoning this duplicate quest is safe to do, it does not affect your progress on the already completed quest.
