[REJECTED] holy shield prot paladin

Bug description: holy shield talent in prot paladins is not working at all . nothing. after last fix about this talent our chance to block is 0
and another thing is that we take more damage in every case pvp and pve. pleas fix this thanks

To be honest, he's correct to a point. Holy Shield is working and doing what it entails, but it's being triggered incorrectly. It's being tracked as an absorb in coding instead of as a block which actually increases how much it's actually blocking for rather than 30% it's calculting an absorb at a much higher percentage. I don't know what the percentage is as I didn't really spend time on it. I did test this the other day though and noticed it.

Like I said, it's absorbing more than it should because it's being coded as an ABSORB instead of a BLOCK. You say it's not working, but it's overperforming what you're actually looking at.

im saying that its all wrong, sometimes its absorbing more, sometimes not at all, as quicksand said it should "absorb" 30% of everything, but its not, and there are that cases when its absorbing wrong amount

IT ABSORBS, NOT BLOCKS. And you have (your block chance pct here)% to block 30% damage of the spell. End of discussion. It works properly, you just need to learn to play

And you dare saying that I don't know how the game works. When you don't know basic math.

He took 134652 damage, and absorbed 57708. So the damage he would've gotten if he wouldn't have absorbed it is: 134652+57708 = 192360.
Now multiply it with 0.3 (aka 30%): 192360 * 0.3 = 57708. OMG what a coincidence. He absorbed 30% of the damage. Stop complaining about things that work correctly.
