That wasn't a deadline but an ETA and that's exactly the reason why we never give ETA's. People doesn't understand how much work is involved.

Shocker did say "exact deadline" and "whatever happens in the following period we will release ptr in 2 weeks maximum" or so but I guess we players are always wrong..
