Why i think that Molten is attacking the server with DDoS.

Today, we discussed in the guild about the issue with the server, and after hearing lots of stuff about how 4 of Molten WoW's major guilds are migrating here, it is a possibility that they are attacking freakz. The player counters they have also seem to be fake (Private server with 30k players, yeah right).

Suggestion: Try blocking their IP, see if it works. All i know is that it's a russian server, but might be hosted elsewere.

Again, this is just a suspicion, I may be wrong and maybe not.

Well someone is pissed about this server. That much is safe to say.

Is it molten? Monster wow or one of the other so called great private servers that claim to have things that they just don't have? I'd say yea.

I would head the suspicions towards m0nsterw0w... Many people playing there were dissapointed and migrated here.

I think M0lten have enough money from donations to not give a *** about other private servers being popular, unless it's admin don't have money for gas to his car bought with money from donations, and we disturb his money flow...

I think its unprofessional that staff officially blames the attack on MoltenWoW or another server. I mean is there any proof for us to see this? IMHO u need to be more responsible and serious about such statements coz they can turn really ugly and u have real people in ur community. I played on MoltenWoW too but I wanted a EU server so I moved here. MoltenWoW also had server attacks every month but their staff never blamed it on another server but worked and FIXED the problem themselves.

If staff is so sure maybe call or write to their host provider or turn to internet police, otherwise I dont think spreading hate and covering real server problems is what staff and owner should be doing. It just looks bad and unprofessional.

@op I dont think MoltenWoW even knows about our server. Their population is full as usual. Maybe look at real competitors like SpiderNET Romania.

yes they know , & its possibility that it comes from any other server . as a proof i see guild made by astral server player ( Astral Callers ) hsn name of dude.. That`s obviously a advertising guild ... anyways , molten players did advertise on some servers i played back when they were on N/S realms. i wouldnt be suprised that * floods * came from them or astral

Another option might be that some bunch of kids is playing with program to send huge ammounts of packets to feel like a member of the "Anonymous Group"... Maybe it's someone who got banned and now he's trying to take revange.

Any option is possible, but I'll rather stay with that someone is afraid of competition. It may be even some small server that we don't know about and is trying to knock out the the top lists.

Whoever it is, they took wrong way and are *** to descend to such level...

who knows, that anonymous is pure ( there is a word missing ) & i think they have better things to do than to flood 1 private wow server . Maybe there is possibility that recently banned player/s have grouped & went for revenge ...

We did not say directly which server, or who is flooding us, we just said that someone is very mad at us. However, something is sure, a kid could NOT do this flood.

well facebook admin did... imho staff should be more serious when making such statements or control what other admins say.

Yeah Soma, they kind of can't support competition (we're not even a competition for them at the moment, as we are highly dominating them on any aspect of the server), they can't stand the fact that they are dying.

I dont really care whoever is flooding the server(That flooding fact is one more sign of great potential this server haz),i just want to thank Freakz staff in advance for fixing that problem.
