Hi Freakz Community -

I'm an italian player of Exodus. I started play here a few weeks ago.


I read on a topic that our servers will remain for a long time to patch 4.0.6. I noticed that many people on the server (at least on Exodus) tend to start directly raids, neglecting the heroic istance. So it would be nice to give an incentive to do heroics, creating a custom NPC with quests that have the daily task of killing heroic bosses and receive a prize of Justice and Valor Points, as if it were a reward for the heroic df. So everyone will start doing more instance and make gear easier thanks to the valor and justice points awarded for each daily quest. I hope you take note of this proposal which I think is really good. -

this is a great idea but if they make the rewards too high it will make players focus on the heroics and neglect the bigger raids. if they set the reward too low layers wont bother doing them and it will be a waste of time -

Also, they are kinda hard for low-geared players... actually most find them difficult even in BiS gear.

this cause of the loot drop x 30 and the chance of looting epics
if u low this to x1 for every thing even green just like offi ppl will go back to HC's . keep the rate xp from 1-30 but the loot drop it to x1 for every thing , this will work , because u said this server is like retail , or makes u feel like playing in retail , but custom npc ?? this is like funn server , and wowfreakz is kinda off funn server already . i don't like the idea cause i saw it in other server call ICEWOW they simply couldn't open new raid boss with good script so they creat these npc but it kinda work out there cause they scripted all HC and normal cata inst , but in wow freakz we have only 3 . try to make the server more like blizzlike , cause u ppl have the most working content but yet u want to rune it by doing custom npc ? wht next custom boss ? .

I like this idea. In my opinion 90 valor points (same as for killing 25m boss) for one quest would be just fine.

That wont solve the problem.

If you guys don't see, our main problem is exp and drop rate. After you hit lvl85 you can get to iLvL 350+ in couple of mins with gold. For example, i got ilvl 351 20 mins after i hitted 85 on my warrior. With that iLvL i don't need 5mans anymore. So if you guys want people to do HC's more often make owner lower the rates of the server and people would gear up more slower and that will make them to 5mans.

Now this I'd really like to comment on. It's not gear that makes dungeons(normal or heroic) hard. It's the lack of interest and the will to learn. Dungeons are meant just for those undergeared people, but they must atleast know what to do on the various encounters and, by adding some improvising with their class, make it easier. For example, Commander Ulthok is a child's play when your tank knows how to kite the boss around the room to avoid zone stacking and, potentionally, wiping. On the other hand, as I've seen with my own eyes, tanks who just keep him still die on the 10th second of the encounter and the dps(if platers/smart hunters) are forced to improvise, which doesn't always end well. Why does that happen you ask? Just the lack of interest and will to learn as I said earlier. The one thing I couldn't understand is why people join dungeons(or raids for that matter) when they don't know jack about the trash, let alone bosses? People die on the 2 trash mobs in bh because they don't know they need to stack infront of it, plus the tanks don't know they need to taunt the mob off each other when one of them has a debuff. Why is THIS? Because nobody reads or watches videos. Everyone thinks that others will carry them through and in the end recieve loot for doing... well... absolutely nothing except dying... There's a saying:

Kids on this(and many other) server(s) think the opposite.

So what exactly is my point? As most of the people here, lower the item rates!!! Even a server wide announcement like
"Take time to read/watch guides for the various dungeons and raids!". Not rewards like justice and valor points. Okay, maybe 10(max 20) valor points for hc dungeons and 40-50 justice for normal ones. But the rates are more important. Plus, this gold inflation is really making a mess. People think it's so easy to find BoE epics that they started dropping the prices down to almost nothingl... Some time ago, when I started playing here, Corefire Legplates had an AH price of 60-70k gold. Now some overoptimistic noobs sell them for 30k, sometimes even less... This isn't good at all since you start running low on things to make money with...

Rates are the problem guys, not the rewards!

i think there was an idea of this long time before, we could really use something like this, but from my point of view we will have another problem. If you change the rates that will have effect only on new people that comes, cause all of use already have 10 characters with all pre-raid gear, so we dont need this anyway. My solution would be new realm with low rates and w/o possibility of transfer. You can also merge evolution and genesis and open new realm. I think thats the best solution.
PS. I know my grammar is horrible but you can understand what i wanted to say

In the last server where I played (3.3.5 server) even full 264 and more ilvl people were still doin at least one RDF every day. Why? It's not like they needed the low ilvl gear that was droping but the 1st rdf for the day was rewarding 2 Frost emblems and that is why everyone was doin RDFs. So just make the 1st RDF for the day to reward 70 Valor and there will be interest.

bye doing this u will make the game more easier for lot of ppl for the valor point side , creat another realm with x1 for every thing and u will get more ppl then u ever imagine , cause i knew a lot off ppl that comes here and saw tha rate and AH and they left cause of the lack of chalenge , why they would stay they said if they can have 350 item lvl in 1 hour ?? . plz dont make this mistake .

It's too early for "first RDF reward". Patch 3.3.5 was the final patch for wotlk. 4.0.6 is one of the first patches of cata and it hasn't got all those extras.
