Descrierea bugului / Bug description: Ambush does tremendous amounts of damage and has to be nerfed, cause the damage is hilariously bugged.

My test subject is Zoliegybhuzi, here are his stats:







And the rogue for today is yours truly: Stealthblade. Here are his stats:



So, the facts:

Warriors Armor:
46,89% but Find Weakness reduces it by 70% so:
46,89 *0,3= 14% (14,06% but for keeping it easy let it just be 14%)
Warrior's Resilience:
45,68%
Battle Stance +5%

Total damage reduction With Resilience and Battle Stance = 50,68%
Total damage reduction With Resilience and Battle Stance and Armor = 64,58% dmg redu


My rogue's damage:
4228 min 4751 max

Ambush damage = weapon damage*3,99+1613

Non-Critical Minimim Ambush Damage = 18482 (4228*3,99+1613)
Non-Critical Maximum Ambush Damage = 20569 (4751*3,99+1613)

Minimum Critical Ambush Damage with Meta Gem (x2.03) = 37518 (18482*2,03)
Maximum Critical Ambush Damage with Meta Gem (x2.03) = 41755 (20569*2,03)

This seems okay. Now if 100% damage are theese numbers, lets see the result of the Armor and Resilience reduced damages. 100%-64,58%=35,42% "PVP" damage

Minimum = 37518 * 0,3542 = 13228 Damage
Maximum = 20569 * 0,3542 = 14789 Damage

Now, I didn't have any proccs, didn't do any Shadowstep and nothing procced. Test Ended when Master of Subtelty buff wore off Here is the Combat Log with the stats, that have been provided:



As you can cleary see in this wonderfull combat log, the minimum damage was 16434 but master of (123% more damage than it should) and maximum damage was 16849 (114% more damage than it should).
The 15344 Ambush was made after Master of Subtelty so sadly It does not count, cause of the damage difference it gives.

As a result of this fantastic testing, it came to conclusion that the ability Ambush does ~18% more damage then intended. This difference is not big, but with more attack power and the wrong formula, ambush damage can reach to 25-30% more damage then intended, wich is extremely overpowered.

Now that my test is complete, I would like you to fix this ability. Bare in mind Backstab is bugged just like this, but i don't mention it, cause if Ambush will do more damage then Backstab, then it will be seen and will be corrected. My main problem is Ambush, Backstab can wait.

16k is too much ? are you total retarded ? Warriors hit 25k mortal (whitch is bugged btw) and that rogue hit for 16k ambush (a spell that you have eighter on sdance that has 1 min cd or on vanish 2 min cd) Srsly bro.

And for god's sake read before you whine, i didn't pop ANYTHING. If rogue fullcd's with trinkets and proccs its 30k ambushes fyi...

And warriors hitting 25k is not a bug. Mine hits 70k in dummies, so with colo smash 25k is more than normal (or a little less)

QQ Less please, degeaba ai armura pentru ca rogue-ul ignora 75% cu ambush, tu erai in forma normala... uita-te ce buffe avea rogu...

Aveai bleed (18% increase dmg, avea buffu de increase 10% dmg pt 10 sec de la stealth, plus buffele de pe el, 2x trinket activate, potion... ) avea o gramada agility increase + wild 5%

Oricum problema cred ca e in general pe freakz, sunt multe bugs... trebuie sa avem rabdare

Nush cum se faci da nu prea stii sa joci in cazul asta.

Eu recunosc ca dmg-ul este putin in + dar nu asa cum abereaza unii pe aici. Nu ar trebui nici 30k + la gearu asta cu t1 dagger dar nici mult sub. DMG-ul este cu ~ 2k .. maxim 3k mai mare fata de cum ar trebui. Asta la procs ma refer deoarece fara procs este ok sau diferenta e prea mica sa fie sesizabila (adica 500 dmg max si asta variabil)

Doesn't work like that; damage reduction is multiplicative, otherwise you would reach 100%+ with resilience and armor and a wannabe damage reduction cooldown; and that means 0 damage received.
Oh and ambush doesn't use your white damage; it's normalized to 1.7 weapon speed for daggers.

no dai tu 30k eviscerate ca undead si procs care le avea sick si esti blanos rogue is fine thou, doar ca ziceam ca eu nam prins mai mult de 20k evi ... poate rare exceptii.. nush dc vii si faci pe hateru ^^

As said above, the formula he is wrong, he just added armor+resilience on top of each other, but since they are of different nature they cannot be added just like that - to proove that i tested with his wonderful formula but without found weakness and according to the magical formula used, i should have hit that player for 1600-2500 uncrit / 3203-5005 crit, well i hit him for 9k(not because damage is bugged, but because formula is wrong) .

Damage de la rogue este normal, tu din cate vad esti un hater de rogue ,
