fix FPS?

The only place where i've ever had any fps drops was alterac valley for 2-3 seconds and then went back to 60.

I do BH10-25 and DS10-10h-25 everyweek and never had any problem at all with fps... only some minor drops in yor 25 during heavy AoE moments.


Those who have problems with fps... turn down graphics settings, specially shadows, if you still have problems with the lowest quality, or you have some weird driver issue (rare but possible) or it's time to change the processor (min FPS depend a lot on the processor in MMORPGS like WoW).

The amusing thing is that when your game freezes, the rest of your system responds just fine, meaning it is a problem with the game and not resource starving.

I think that did happen back on 4.0.6 too, but it was a lot smaller fps drop than it is now. It had a bigger effect on Battlegrounds than on raids, and now it's the opposite.

clearly when so many people have fps probems, its server not us, also i get random drops even in orgrimmar sometimes from 50fps to 10...

I know how it will sound, and many of you may accuse me of being perv etc, but what really could help you out, is WoW nude mod.

Srsly, I am not kidding. Just think about it, how many resources it takes, just to load armor that ppl around u wear.

it is server side, but despite many complaints and topics that proves staff wrong, they will again say its your side... no suprice

That's other story for the ones who have "worse" computers. At least I guess so.

The discussed problem is about getting really low FPS no matter how good your PC is, when people from raid are spread across the world. It indeed goes back to "normal" like Macedo931 said, after raid summon when everyone are in one place.
Or even better, leaving the raid group fix the FPS problem instantly wether you're just sitting in Stormwind/Orgrimmar or anywhere else waiting for raid to start.

I get insane fps drops sometimes with no reason, i play everything on ultra, ive tried many other servers even pandaria ones and i get an average of 70-150 fps, but on freakz i get like 150 and one sec later 5 .
