Well, there was a time when private servers were up to date with retail patches. Now it looks like blizz features keep getting harder and harder to implement. Also they change just too many things every expansion now. Especially talents. So basically the "last working patch" difference keeps getting bigger. Might be a good thing actually, at least blizz doesn't shut down private servers anymore.
Also, we don't even have properly working cata yet. And MoP pvp looks bit dumb.

well monks aren't op in way that they do dmg, they are op in the way that they are new and no tlots of people kno whow to deal with the, but the other classes are very balanced, xcept maybe hunts i heard that they have burst like warriors last patch

I am sorry but we migrated from 4.0.6 to 4.3.4 without working BoT forth boss, BWD last boss, without arena seasons, without a lot of the 4.0.6 achieves working. This is a private server and u can not expect that migrating to a higher version means that the current one is working on 100%
