Well, with Cataclysm, Blizzard did a few changes.
Arena points are no longer existing, they added conquest points as a reward for arenas, they got rid off the x rating requirements for certain arena gear they released and they put the requirements for the old WOTLK gear as honor + x rating.
Now, since this combination of conq points + rating requirements aren't implemented in the core, there is no way for me to add them.

then simply manualy give the t2 to the players who reach 2k, not like thousands of players will get 2k rate and if they do, good job on inciting 3v3.

Maybe that's the reason why in AT conquest points are replaced with Honor points... Well when i came back to the server 1 year ago i heard that GMs were giving Elite gear to people that reach 2k in 3v3 (back in 4.0.6 obviously).That should improve ques a bit ,but won't be enough.In my opinion the only way to promote 3v3 bracket is to close 2v2.... This is the ONLY solution,you really need to talk with Shockeru about that...Otherwise whatever you do the ques will be rare..

I agree with closing 2v2, but I don't think that's possible since there will be a lot of ( 80% +) haters cause 3v3 is to hard for them. Lets face it, there's way to much pvp noobs on this server and not even close enough good ones.

Yea, that's the reason why they are using honor points.

The problem is not the tier 2 weapons at 2k, we can give those manually.

Also, closing the 2v2 bracket was proposed many times around here, but that won't happen.

Exactly,there are tons of braindeads around.. if there were like atleast 50% decent people 3v3 would be ~equal to 2v2 but yeah... You can't just put this inside their heads and make them realise 3v3 is way more fun and there is more challenge in it at all and eventually join for it... Well Raster didn't really pay attention @what you said,but if you can make the rating requirement and you can't add the conquest points requirement,you should like.. i dunno make it require honor cap or something... dunno i'm sure there is some choice.

also raster, can we switch comps if we respect other rules ofc? like if we got rog lock shaman and warrior in team, im playing the rog and warrior, can we switch comp during the tourney?

Why not just add honor+rating req. for those rewards? Or hell, even give them for free + rating req. Might be even better than requiring conquest points if people still need cata gear.

That should be added in the rules aswell...like if you play RLS as main comp ,to have an alt comp Jungle for example.That's exactly how all the other tourneys goes.Also a 4th alt member would be great,if someone goes offline,the alt member just fills his spot.

Sure. I'm playing jungle and then i have to face Shadowplay (not that good, actualy i have no chance) and the UPS. The hunter goes offline and my warlock is online . What the hell, i play RLS and i have ~ 90% chance to win XAXAXA.

I don't want to give free stuff and it's kinda retarded to make them available for honor points since you earn conquest from arenas, but that could be done.

The whole thing takes like 2 hours to complete, I don't really believe you need that fourth member.
About the first question, I kinda covered this in the rules, and the answer is no. The comp that you play your first game with, is the one that you keep.
