Well, with that being out of the picture...I think the best route would be to use the "server" that used to hold Exodus to host a MoP realm, with it becoming live after some time (at the rate of gamebreaking bug fixes...dunno, perhaps 3 years or so, because 2 years wasn't enough for 4.3) and offer the possibility of realm transfer from Cata to MoP at some point into the future.


And the nice thing about it is that with two realms Cata & MoP, freakz population will grow again.

Community is really bored, to be honest... They want something new, exiting, bla bla... We are almost 2 expansions behind and players rather go on private bugged mop server in order to see how is it. The best thing to do is opening a PTR mop server in the near future.

Make all dungeons work! Polish class spells and talents!
They decide I'll be happy with what ever they do! I just love to read the fix notes when they post them to see what is working...
Also, they could fix the "toy" items, we could have a little more fun!

You mean spectral , Firelands hc (some items from there are still BiS) , Tarecgosa chain q / Fangs of the father chain q / New bgs or just switch to mop.

This post has been a reply in this topic, even though you cannot read it I will post the reply entirely.

To begin with I'll mention that it was a pleasure reading this thread (even though 50% of the posts were written by low IQ kids (using odes's expression)).

Snoopy managed in one thread to wake up the "voice" of freakz players (which I was also glad to hear in "Cross-Faction Battleground" thread.). It's wonderful to see that really old players like Xh3lar, Drain, Allecs and many others came to write their opinions regarding freakz's fate. Even if they used a nice language (Snoppy), others a rude one (Drain), others somewhere in between (odes), it's nice to know that some people really care about this server, probably more than some actual GMs (there will be a revamp regarding freakz's staff members).

This topic dealt with several issues and to try and I'll cover as many of them as possible (do not know where to start, I'll list everything random as my thoughts come to mind).

1. Armory & Website
Design of the new website is done. From my point of view is superb. All we have to do now is to move over every script and some other crap, stuff that lasts up to a week to Shocker. Perhaps (and hopefully) to come up with other major changes on Freakz.

Armory - was not started anything yet, and there's no plan regarding this project. We will discuss this option after the introduction of the new site, when it will most probably be decided to work on this project.

2. WotLK Realm
It won't happen at the moment. Maybe after the introduction of a stable MoP realm, we will reverse this decision, possibly only a strictly PvP realm of Lich King.
a) Man-Power of Scripting on Freakz is quite limited (Shocker and Nexflame) and currently the most important is to focus on a transition to MoP (see point 3)
We didn't hire only one developer because we only want to one, we even have the topic regarding hiring new developers. Nexflame is possible the only developer capable of scripting in Trinity Core from Romania. The rest of the developers are foreigners and are either incredibly inept, or ask for a payment equal to the amount of donations we get in three months. We searched a lot (and have been contacted by many), all were either incapable or were saying "we'll do" and than stop responding after you gave them a server to test on (as they didn't even have one), or demanding incredible amounts of money.
b) "WoD is live on blizz and we fight with Marrowgar and Flame Leviathan"
c) Possibly other reasons that I couldn't think of right now.

3. MoP Realm / MoP PTR Realm
It will happen. We just launched Madness on Normal difficulty, we'll finish everything we have to fix and maybe we will launch Heroic (this Friday or next Friday), and Shocker will add some more PvP Fixes so I can properly host the PvP tournament from December (I hope that we will fix the bug that shows you elsewhere in arena when you sit and the bug that randomly breaks CC in arena and some other major bugs).

Possibly somewhere in October we will open a mop PTR realm (GM & VIP Players only, because there will be a bunch of big and obvious bugs regarding important game mechanics and obviously we do not need hundreds of players that report the same thing over and over again, also there will be general fixes for hundreds of spells) and maybe by December we'll have an OPEN PUBLIC TEST REALM.

We'll start with Patch 5.4.x (x is obviously irrelevant). We'll do this because switching from 5.1 to 5.2 (for example) is a huge work, similar to the transition from one expansion to another.

PvE pace scripting (both duration of time between releasing bosses and how many bosses we'll script) is not yet decided (possibly to make a TS session with GM & VIP Players to decide such things).

We'll host PvP tournaments as often as we hold them on PvP realm with gear(PvP & progressive PvE gear).
If the PvE-level script will override the progress of PvP, we'll restrict certain PvE items from Arena.

We have not decided if we will keep both realms, one for MoP and one for Cataclysm.

4. Voting Sites
Descriptions will be changed when we'll switch to MoP, there is no point now.

5. Tutorials & Class Moderators
With the public opening of the PTR's for MoP, I'll open a tutorial contest and select class tutorials and moderators (not necessarily based tutorials)

6. Legendary Daggers
Yes. They will Be Implemented one week after Heroic Madness release.
