I never really bothered with the Earthliving Weapon bug. I didn't find a fight yet where the tank takes massive damage to below 35% and then almost no damage for a time (tank swap). In most cases when the "ow shit" of bosses comes the Priest yolo's the Halo for 200k healing or something -

Even went RDF with 4 dps, to make things interesting in terms of healing. Fury warrior tanking FTW.

@wrathy, well actually i find it very useful in ToES @Lei Shi, when the tankers are taking massive damage from the water splash.

I never healed Lei Shi (for reasons I will not mention here) - It could be very useful there, but I just don't know about that. It is good that it has a use and that the fix helped your group out there. Hope you got some nice loot.

I'd love to do ToES, but after seeing the loot I can just use 1 trinket and the Shoulder Token. Not quite impressed with the level of progression I can make there. I imagine ToES bosses also just give 18 VP, which is meh... -

I still believe that the way Pandaria raids work, is that the Healer is not the sole person responsible for people's survival. Tanks have migrate effects to lower damage, and should use them accordingly (same goes for DPS). In most cases, the group won't wipe thanks to a lack of heals, but to the fact people are having tunnel vision and think the Healer will pick up on their mistakes to migrate damage or poor positioning.

Well.. I've healed ToES a quite a few times on my Shaman and Druid. It is fairly easy to be healed 2/3man in 10n or 4/5 in 25s. Personally I've seen groups wiping cuz of low healing done by healers but for that you can't blame healers only. Lack of defensive cooldown usage by players,lack of focus can pretty much hurt the raid which ends up resulting in a wipe.
About Lei Shi.. It is an annoying boss to say the least,sure its easiest to be healed as Restoration Shaman but meh.. All those Get aways,Hides and stuff.. are pain in the ***.
But.. I've never or rarely had members of my group going on 50% HP or less(during Get Away! mostly but hell Im perfectly matching cooldowns for that phase so its kinda rare/imposible)
Tank damage however can be pretty danm high cuz of stacks @Lei Shi but you cant do much about it as Restoration Shaman,just prey tanks will use defensives or if u got a pala in the raid to give hand of sacrifice/hand of protection or a priest for Pain Supresion

Overall ToES is a pretty funny raid and you should do it often regardless of minor gear drops (trinket/token but u can/should also get belt/dagger/cloak if u can) bosses are pretty much easy to be healed. (Well Tsulong can be pain in the *** but that Day Phase just owns)

I tried to heal ToES a few times, and yes healing was no problem. I entered a world of **lots of laughing**

1. Tanks didn't pick up the right Guardian
2. DPS not focussing (three bosses, lets hit all three, it works -)
3. No dispels on the boss' healing buff
4. low dps (I mean <50k dps)

At these times I just can't be bothered but to laugh and take the game with a grain of salt - I've seen the fights on Tankspot, and I agree with you that they are very interesting mechanic wise. This is what also makes me look for ToES raids, but there aren't that many and my guild is rather passive towards ToES.

Would you recommend 2 healers for Protectors (since their enrage timer), 3 for Shen and 3 for Miss Kikaboo / hide and seek (Lei Shi)?

I'll see if I can get to do some ToES in the near future; overall it is a game, so for me it's -- Fun > other things -- and ToES can be a lot of fun.

For 10normal you can roll 3 healers on all bosses or 2healers if they are good.
For 10heroic 3healers are a must.. Damage taken is bloody insane..
Tonight on protectors we had to 3man heal it. Me(on rsham) with 90-95k hps,hpala 70-80k not sure and a resto druid with 70ish~.

I will not be bothering with guides. Mainly because of three reasons:

1. There are plenty of guides when you google them
2. People take guides as "hard laws", instead of using the information and adapting it to their own preferences.
3. People tend to go "aw your totally wrong mentality", if they apply #2 and think they have a better set-up for their preferences.

If someone has questions though, that is more interesting to discus about. With the mana regain fix, I can imagine a guide would help, but the tricks are in the small details. As always; this is my opinion and you are entitled to have your own opinion (and I hope you got one).

I'm looking for an addon that would write on say/raid chat who and what dispelled. Anyone has an idea? I've tried some but they were either broken or I didn't know how to use them -

Make shadow priest great again

you can try it with a simple macro:

==================
#showtooltip Cleanse
/cast Cleanse
/s Cleansed %t.
==================

This will put a text in /say that you cleansed someone (by name) **check if the Shaman version is named Cleanse**. I use these for similar effects like Heroism / Bloodlust + Stormlash Totem; Mana Tide Totem; Spirit Link; etc.

If you have your chat set to /ra text, the macro will not swap it to /say. So you will be typing in /ra again after you decide to type yourself.
