Hai sa ma bag si eu in vorba ca musca in lapte...
Vroiam sa achizitionez un hdd dar nu sunt hotarat, SSD, SSHD sau HDD simplu. SSD-ul daca ar fi sa iau nu m-as intinde la valori mai mari de 120 gb pentru ca nu e necesar pt windows, asa ca ma intreb daca chiar s-ar merita. Winu imi porneste rpd, mai putin ma intereseaza timpul de boot ca oricum pana apuc sa aprind monitorul apare desktopul; iar 10-15 sec pana termina de incarcat totul nu reprezinta o valoare demna de luat in considerare.
Pe de alta parte ar suna bine capacitatea de storage in plus de la un hdd normal, mai ales ca hdd-ul actual a inceput sa fie putin cam neincapator si sa mai mentionez ca are vreo 13k ore de mers, deci are ceva vechime si se cunoaste.

Iar cu SSHD nush ce sa zic, chiar sunt mai performante ? sau mai bine zis sunt cam "ezitant" in a alege alta firma afara de WD, in cazul asta Seagate. M-ar interesa in primul rand fiabilitatea, apoi capacitatea de stocare si viteza.

SSHD-urile sunt o hotie pe fata. Price/Performance iesi mai prost decat la un HDD.
SSD-ul e bun daca folosesti programe gen Foto/Video editing si le pui el, pe langa OS.
HDD-ul stim cu toii ca e bun pentru stocare ^_^
Gasesti SSD-uri la 250 de lei pe PCGarage de ex. de la Kingston.

Am sa il sumonez pe Necris caci el e un fel de Moise al IT-ului ca sa primesti mai multe informatii.

Pe SSD iti pui OS-ul , programele de editat video/audio , jocurile care vrei sa aiba timpii de incarcare mai mici eventual si ca locatie de download daca te tine internetul si simti ca poti downloada mai repede decat poate un HDD sa scrie. E mai bun decat un hdd la orice in afara de pret.

Pai intentionam sa iau un SSD initial dar nu fac editari audio/video sau autocad sau alte cele care necesita timp de raspuns mic si viteza mare, si decat pentru windows este cam overkill. Ar fi bun unul de 500 gb pt jocuri da ce pot sa zic, de banii aia iau 2 WD black de 1 tera si le pun si in raid.

De la un SSD cam la ce durata de viata sa ma astept ? stiu eu ca alea 1-2 mil ore sunt cu numarul acolo, ca nimeni nu o sa traiasca 150+ ani sa vada daca tine atat, si aia poate pus pe raft.

@ Faith ssd-urile actuale au o durata de viata calculata undeva la 6-8 ani. SSD + HDD 7200 rpm e cel mai bun combo si price/capacity/speed ratio. Eu aveam un WD Blue de ~ 3 ani langa care am bagat un SSD 128gb pentru OS. Pe hdd chiar daca il tin ca storage si pentru jocuri non-multiplayeri se misca mai bine doar pentru ca nu trebuie sa mai tina si OS-ul simultan.
