I've been getting this error when I try to log in with my username (made sure not to use the e-mail as stated in the instructions.) I got the client from the site, reinstalled the launcher, and have double and triple checked the realmlist. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong at this point.

Are you using the email to login? If so, then try using your account name. Also, make sure that you erase the WTF folder *before* redownloading the WoW Freakz Launcher.

I've been using my account name to try to log in. I deleted the WTF folder completely, recopied in the launcher files, deleted the cache folder (not the one in data) and I'm still getting the same error message.

If you Updated your Video Card driver and the issue disappeared then it's fixed. If not, then simply ignore it as it appears when you are using an old Video Card model.

Now im not able to log on because of my account needing to be switched to a battle net account? what is this? I was playing for awhile and now it's going downhill really fast!

Game folder -> WTF -> open Config.wtf using notepad, and make sure you have this written:

WOW! this is the third time I've tried to log in however, Oops cant because of Errors or such and I really like the server but it seems to have some major issues regarding logging in and letting players play. I keep getting "You need to convert your account to an official blizzard account Click this link to start the conversion." I'm really starting to think i should go to another server... this is madness, having to configure every time you start the game back up! I would love to continue playing but at the cost of having to constantly reconfigure the folder, the wtf config, everything... Now i cant even play regardless of what I do.

I did this and its still popping up when i try to log in. Sorry i'm being so harsh... I just want to play.

I would like to know how to fix the issue with the ever changing config.wtf. Everytime I close the client or open it changes have been made to my config.wtf, even if all I did was start the client and then close it. I like to play a multi-monitor set up, i.e I play across 3 monitors adjust the viewport and Boom. But in order to do that I need to have the config.wtf to keep the changes I have made to it, especially the "SET gxResolution" line but that seems to disappear.

Right click your WTF folder -> Properties -> uncheck "read-only".

Did that, thats what is causing my file to change. When I keep it read only, I am able to keep my changes.

Hi, I downloaded mop548 and the launcher from your site and I've read all the posts in this thread and I've followed all the suggestions closely but I still can't log into the game due to the dreaded "the information you entered is not valid" baloney. Seems I'm not the only one having this issue ^_^. I don't mean to be pushy, I just came here to ask, do you have an actual lock on this PITA inconvenience or should I just go back to rereading this thread and retrying all the suggestions it contains a 4th time while bashing my head against the wall?
