Bug description: "[FIXED] Censer of Eternal Agony Should only let you to attack people only if they have PvP on. " Nope, still not fixed. Was attacked today, wasn't flagged.

How do you explain that I was killing by that orc warrior when NEITHER of us had flagged for pvp? >_>

You can clearly see everything you need to know, the date, the debuffs, the dmg he's inflicting on me, our pvp flags. What more do you want?!

Also, as you can see, he had Chi-ji's buff. That should not be allowed while you have the Censer of Eternal Agony, as you represent Ordos. NOT THE CELESTIALS.

"You may have considered the benefit of finding one of the god-blessing shrines for use in pvp, considering they offer massive bonuses such as a flat 15% damage increase and similar benefits. Using the censer seems to remove several island-based buffs, including the god-blessing buffs. While I could reapply buffs from the books, each time I used a shrine while under the censer buff, the shrine gave me a "corrupted by ordos" error message - it seems you cannot utilize the shrine buffs when under the effects of the censer. Actually I can't attack anyone in the Timeless Isle, when they are NOT flagged, as shown in the video, which means I can't reproduce the bug, so I need some Horde to try it and tell what happens.

That's another known bug, I don't know if it's reported, but as far as I know it's not fixed. If it's not reported make another post about it.

I can confirm what Phil777 said about Iank - it is now the second time I have been attacked by this player in Timeless Isle while my pvp flag was OFF. I have a screen shot to confirm it - I actually just stood and let him kill me to ensure I did not switch pvp flag on by defending myself. The first time I was attacked by Iank I thought maybe I had hit him with aoe splash damage and was not sure if I was flagged or not as I had defended myself. This happened a week or so ago on another character. However on this occasion I purposefully done nothing to see what was actually happening

I was standing at the vendors in Timeless isle and did not initiate any action that would have attacked him to allow myself to be attacked.

I believe he is abusing some exploit/bug to achieve what he did because it has now happened twice to me and both times it has been the same player.

Hmmm, that's strange, I didn't found anything like a exploit/glitch to do that. I will look some forums and some websites to check if there is something like that. Also you can make a report of the player on the Ban/Mute Request Forum so GMs can check what's going on with that player. I will update this with all the informataion I can get.

Didn't find any information about this in retail forums/WoWHead, but found a exploit that can be the exploit he is actually using. I don't have the time to test it so if Phil777 can help me we can find if he is doing that with the exploit I'm talking about. Obviously I'm not going to say how to do the exploit here, so Phil777 PM me in the Forum and we will try it.

I was attacked again yesterday while trying to level my battle pets on the isle. Kyurem and Partylol attacked me, as soon as my pet battle ended. They were of my own faction, and I was not flagged for pvp. I can post some pictures if you want, but it'd be redundant at this point. =/

Again, I was minding my own business on the isle and got attacked. If you don't care about this bug, at least disable the item or ban the players, but I don't think others like me want to be disturbed when they're farming mobs.

Did not. Was doing pet battles. Right outside the main walkway that is not far from the court, to boot. Maybe make those guards a lil more deadlier to dissuade pvpers? =/

I'd also like to remind you that the cooldown was increased to 1h when going from 5.4.0 to 5.4.8. This is to discourage PvP on the island, and shift the Bloody coins grind to Battlegrounds with the Fire-Watcher's Oath, AS IT SHOULD BE.

A guildie let it slip today that apparently, a priest spell might be causing people to get flagged unwillingly, and that it ressembles the monk's chi wave. Maybe you could investigate further? It basically is because it bounces (and heals) back on a flagged person that it flags the first person for pvp, even though s/he wasn't.
