Account Bound Honor points ?

Would be great if we can somehow mail unused/useless honor points from our main to alts on the same account.

Some of us would like to experiment more classes in pvp, but because we can't get proper pvp gear fast enough, we usually hesitate to join battlegrounds with alts and waste time trying getting it (crafted pvp gear is...crap), that's why some if not most of pvp players stick to 1 maybe 2 characters at all times.

(I heard that in Legion they will make that all players in bg's have same stats with or without gear on them, but lets not go too far.)

Maybe this will help gear up a bit faster, and they will stop staying /afk on alts so often? Wouldn't it feel a bit more rewarding doing bg's?
There may be more reasons why to or not to add, but I see no harm in this.

So the idea I have is to, maybe make(if that is possible)some kind of account bound token, that can be bought with honor, which after can be sent and again exchanged for honor points?

Personally I think this is a bad idea, and to add onto that it's too custom.

Bad Idea why? Because people will get their starter gear a bit faster? Not having to farm honor with crap gear and reading chat full of hatred "cuz your'e useless/gearless" so often? That's main reason why people stay afk in bg's.
I really don't see this as too custom, we had Transmog in 4.0.6 ? Was it a bad thing? was awesome.

This idea is too custom for freakz custom account "bound honor tokens" next people will want "custom valor point tokens".

Valor is for PvE, like Conquest for PvP, so those are valuable currencies.

I suggested this thing only for Honor, but even for Justice it won't be bad, this currencies are pretty much useless after some time.
Account bound is only a measure to make it non tradable between players.


Anyway, if it was for me I'd make Honor gear free so people don't join PvP naked, no one likes "greenies" on their team... yes it is fun to One-shot someone that is geared, but I see no "fun" killing a naked player... feels terrible.

Trade honor and justice for mote harmony, exchange them in shrines to get profession materials (Golden lotus for exemple) and then if you don't need them you can sell those mats at AH to get some money.

Making honor and justice account-bound is just not fair at all but maybe adding a equivalence to the PVE buff "Valor of the ancients"(+50% vp gain for every character when one character is vp capped) that would double honor gained for all your character once you are conquest or honor capped.

It is Unfair ??? What are you talking about?
It's the same thing like sending Heirloom items that you worked on -> to alts, what's unfair in this?
Basically idea is to make Honor points into a heirloom currency, so people that already have a geared toon don't do as much effort gearing again.

Dude I've heard hundreds of ideas , but this is the most horrible "Let's give full honor gear would be funny ".At the moment it is extremely easy to make PVP gear. There are plenty of ways to make gear , you expect to oneshot everybody with crafted ? is normal to be weaker than honor / conquest gear.I have an easier way to make gear that does not involve any token , find a guild PvP and make premades with them.
From my point of view , this is an idea for fun servers ,is too custom and destroys the essence of the game.

You don't pvp with heirlooms, balance in pvp isn't just about abilities dealing too much damage or not.

I'm actually +1 for this,like the guy that made the topic said,some people stick to the same class,because of the annoying gear farming :\ It's exactly the same with me,i want to level up my chars from cataclysm,but when i think of what i'm gonna go through when i start playing bgs i'm already on my way logging my main character lol If this get's refused,perhaps you can increase honor rates like you did on Exodus realm back in the days (1x>2.5)

At the moment you can make 800+ honor just with daily quests, if you win 2 bgs(300 honor for the first win+150 for the next win) you can buy already an item ,you have a chance to take 2 pride items from celestials.You can easily do at least one item per day,from my point of view.If you really want to make gear on a class you like you can easily find a guild that will help you .
You don't need any token , increased rates to make gear.

This is too much of a custom feature for freakz . If you really want to gear up alts , do it normal way you can get pvp items from timeless celestial's , auction house , joining a decent pvp guild and doing bgs with them not doing everything solo .

There are plenty of PvP guilds on freakz it wont be hard to find a decent guild doing pre-made bgs.

STOP Trying to turn FREAKZ to a CUSTOM SERVER.
