[FIXED] [Druid][Balance] Full moon Absurd damage

Bug description: the tooltip says 1800% of SP so just do the math

14.5% artifact damage boost + 30k base intelect in arena (which is less than that): 30000 * 1800 / 100 = 540k
540k * 114.5 / 100 = 618k maximum

Proof: just look at the picture it's 820K ! how?! and it's not even crit?! with crit it will hit 1640K...which is kinda instant death

Nice calculations, so you say nothing else could modify its damage? You just ignored their biggest CD (celestial alignment which is +30% damage, or Incarnation, that is +35%), Moonkin Form (+10% damage done) and possibly several other modifiers. There are dozens of possible talents/honor talents, artifact traits that could've modified the damage of the spell. 1800% SP is one of the hardest hitting spells (I think this one has the highest coefficient I've ever seen, spells like Chaos Bolt do 500%...). Interrupt him, LoS, use defensives, he won't spam that spell, don't worry. We told you several times: there are no magic formulas that we invent... all of the damage is calculated by a chain of complex calculations that take values AUTOMATICALLY (values that were extracted from the game itself, again: we did not invent them, we use the exact same numbers blizzard does).

I will obviously check if you're right, make some tests with pvp templates enabled/etc, see what could go wrong. but I doubt I will find anything. keeping it opened until then

at 01:19:49 the moonkin (probably with ~900+ ilvl) uses a full moon on the dh
it did 444k dmg (noncrit) .. and I don't see blur active on the dh https://www.wow-freakz.com/spells.php?spell=198589 (wowhead link)

and at 1:57:43 he damaged an enhanced shamy for 492k (noncrit)

Today I noticed that a lot of spells do the same damage for both normal hit and crit..
maybe that's the case here ..

I don't know about you, but I have made a moonkin with iLvl 850, activated pvp templates, used all my burst cds, Full Moon tooltip said 792k, it dealt exactly that much on a target with 0% resistance. ofcourse against players it should've done less. problem is that I have no clue where to look, I don't think that I would have to explain that there could be an infinite number of combinations of situations :/

I told you what I think seeing that full moon did here almost double the damage it did in the videos ... that a possibility could be that for a normal hit it does damage like a crit
I will check more videos in the meantime..

Well, there was a sneaky hotfix that did not make to our server just yet, added it manually

Hotfix (2017-04-03): "Full Moon and Half Moon damage decreased by 10% in PvP situations."

Although, I don't really think it will change that much, it's only 10% (still something)

Btw, stop making calculations with 2x crit. If he hits you for 700k, then a crit would do 1M. (In pvp, crits are only 1.5x instead of 2x)
So, as a shan you have around 2.4M hp, 1M is still not oneshot. Frost mages can do easily avove 1M damage with glacial spike (just check venruki's youtube channel, there are some nasty crits around 1.1m, 1.2m.)

it's from 7.2

everything that's after 15 or so March we can't use cause it's from 7.2

If you're gonna apply nerfs from 7.2 might as well apply buffs too right? Or get your s*# together and keep it 7.1.5

Lol? 60% nerf (that is deals 40% damage, which is 720% SP instead of 1800%.)

It deals less than Half Moon... look at the comments and calculations. is it real?

They are talking about some kind of beta testing (testing realm), on page 3(5 days later) there are people saying that it still does full damage on the live server with someone saying that he crited 1.6 mil in bg on some poor fellow and lowest hit was somewhere above 400k which is the actual situation

the problem is with starfall, i find one problem but i don't think i will make that much of a difference
