[FIXED] Dying after entering / exiting a Garrison area

Bug description: When I walk out of my garrison, I sometimes (happened to me for the second time) "die", I can't release, log out, move or anything, I need to Alt+F4 and after retarting WoW it fixes itself.
Another bug kinda related to this one (I do not have video proof, but it is not hard to test), when you go in/out of Garrison in Travel form, it slows you down to walking speed and you need to recast your shapeshift form.

I can confirm it, it happened to me too, twice, once when i got out of the garrison, and the second time, when i was travelling with the fly master, i also got a screenshot here:

Also, regarding your shapeshift form, i think it's dismounting, it happened to me a few times, around the garrison.

Same here, almost every time I leave or even go towards my Garrison this happens. And yeah, as deadbite said it's dismounting if you're on a mount and leaving or entering a Garrison you get dismounted also.

Exiting the game or Alt F4 is the only temporary solution to this as you can't simply logout.


It also shows as you're not wearing gear and that if you happen to press C while stuck and can sometimes remove ALL of your skills from action bars as in the screenshot [link] below.

Having the same issue every time.

its a pain to even get back to the game every time

When you walk on the road paths or move a bad way walking on the roads to the side leading to the garrison or around the areas you get teleported and fall under the map.

1. your gear shows up broken
2. you sometimes fall to your death and teleported back to the same location as if your dead and stuck and cant move anywhere.
3. you cant use spells or inventory items
4. you cant chat or speak
5. your unstuck button don't work or any buttons when you hit Esc and you get the menu
6. also if your in a group with a friend near your garrison you will get it but they wont.


Ive tried every way to avoid this issue, but its unavoidable... the garrison in shadow moon valley is a death trap!

I can confirm too, today happened to me once, got stuck under map after leaving my garrison and couldnt do anything but hitting alt+f4.
Also, dismounting after leaving or moving into garrison zone happens too, a little video of this:

This was my first or second bug report. I looked up if there wasn't another and it looks like I overlooked that one. Sorry for that, won't happen again.

I still couldn't find a solution but I changed the garrison entering a bit, you now get a loading screen when entering/leaving garrison area, please let me know if this fixes anything or it's still the same. Remember this bug was not happening always, so be sure to not hurry and give a response until you check it multiple times.

The loading screen is nice; much better than having to relog every time I'd get stuck. (I had gotten stuck after this fix, but the loading screen happened just after that and fixed it as it teleports you out of the ground texture.) Just would like to note that heading towards the Alliance starter zone from the Alliance garrisons you have to go through several (a total of four back-to-back) loading screens and end up getting dismounted at the last loading screen. Well, anyways I'm glad this issue has been fixed.

Just tested the new mechanic like 20 times right now from different positions. I did not get stuck before the loading screen anytime. The loading screen fixes the problem.

Hmm, maybe it's just me lagging then, haha.

It doesn't really matter if you get stuck and instantly unstucked by loading screen, all it matters that you're not stuck at the end of loadings/etc. Still waiting for some more feedback
