Siege of Orgrimmar 10 Heroic Speedrun
Objective: Be the first raid to kill General Nazgrim
Date: 28 May 20:00 Server Time

RULES
1. No exploits or hacks allowed.
2. Clearing trash mobs beforehand is not allowed.
3. Trash mobs can be skipped.
4. Only one raid per guild.
5. You cannot have more than 2 players of the same class in your raid.

REWARDS
I 10$ On your account + any mount (can be epic)
II. 5$ On your account + any mount (cannot be epic)
III Any mount (cannot be epic)
Streaming the raid will also get you rewarded.

Why not make it all the bosses instead of just first 8 , to make it more competitive ? They're working just fine and it would make things much more interesting.

3 guilds....3 rewards *fair enough* "IF WE LOSE...WE WIN"

We (Classified) want to participate with 2 raids to have "competition". I think that's the purpose of an event...

We (2nd group @Classified) also can leave the guild and join in other guild for ~40mins to participate at the event but then there will be a massive flame on forum and global.

If this is the situation of the server in this moment, you (Erudax) need to remove that rule.

Like this post if you (all) want that the 4th rule to be removed (Only one raid per guild.) and have an event with more than 3 groups.

I'm waiting for your feedback regarding this change @wow freakz staff & members.

This is both a good and bad idea. What if, let's say, a guild (Classified for example) has 3 groups and all of them will be on first 3 places? How will the final rankings be?

Both options have their flaws in my opinion, but having a number of three guilds participating in an event with three winning places seems unappealing, as a general idea. It is not staff's fault that people join in the last minute but still, the competition doesn't seem like a competition anymore.

Regarding the issue with more groups per guild, I believe, as @Shocker said, a pretty bad idea.

However, I would suggest a rule which allows players from other guilds, even opposite factions, to be able to join a group for the event, under one guild name, no matter the guild they were in at that time; or, as the guild achievements work, to have a raid composition of at least 8/10 guild players and 2 other players, no matter their status with the participating guild.

Being able to participate with members from the oposite faction will be great , since aliance doesn't have any trolls. Horde racials are way better.

Or an even better and fun idea would be for let's say, for example, 60 players to be randomly put in a pool, and see which group comes out on top, with random players from various guilds.
That way, maybe it will help getting the community more familiarized with each other, and stop all this massive hate that is going on between guilds, that we see non-stop in the chat, global chat, forums.
There is a pool of 12 tanks, 12 healers, 36 dps. One random tank goes to group 1. The 2nd one goes to group 2, and so on, you get the idea.
The problem with this is that I don't think people will be to interested in signing up for such an event on the forum, since some people are not into forums.
As for this particular event, I have my own opinion, which I stated in the last edition. The event is what it is, you either sign up for it, or you don't, knowing the rules.

blizzard has tried to mix shit players with high end raiders, it has never worked, and it won't work on freakz, what the *** are you talking about? instead of writing crap for the sake of being written, look at the situation of the server: one guild has the capacity of taking the 3 winning spots with 3 different groups. what does this tell you about the settlement of the community? you talk about competition.. where is it? what competition? are you aware that there are no guilds that are able to participate in such events because new guilds don't resist? foreign players are not interested in building a community in a new world of warcraft that is freakz, with different mechanics and the way the whole game works.

You tried this before. I won't allow two raids of the same guild even if you leave and join another guild that wasn't signed up.
