Bug description: the strength of the frost template is not scaling as it should. (it should scale 75% of its strength) right now is bugged. as u can see in this video there were some nerfs of frost dk in pvp https://youtube.com/watch?v=bu7j31XR8Rg&t=231:

75% of 20818 is 15613.5 not 22063.

I'm pretty sure you can keep it in confirmed. It's just reported wrong in the OP. To explain the bug as best as possible. The Strength values outside of your PvP Template are irrelevant entirely. You get a set amount of Strength based on the Template. If Blizzard says 75% Strength they mean 75% Strength on the Template, not your Strength. It's not based on your Strength.

Other than that, I'm fairly sure the preset PvP Template for Frost is set too high by default. Unfortunately we don't know the exact template values from Blizzard as they've never released them, but we can speculate.
Currently with 0% Principles of War you receive 21,195 base Strength as a Frost DK on Freakz in your PvP Template. Subtract 17 due to base Strength of Blood Elf.

at 1:44 character sheet has 18,032 Strength. 852 itemlevel.

2:38 character sheet has 17,402 Strength. 844 itemlevel.

2:24 character sheet has 16,557 Strength. 864 itemlevel.

Both of these videos were released after the 7.1.5 hotfix. So the PvP Template of Frost DKs has much higher Strength on Freakz than on live. Like 3000-4000 Strength.

There's probably some other classes and specs who's values are busted the exact same way. I'd consider taking a look at all of them at some point.

I agree with Lunia. Here is another video with stats in pvp:
At 9:38 you can see 17,265 Strenght, 54,512 Stamina and 894 ilvl. However we do not know how many traits he has in his weapon, so core strenght has to be lower than that.

So frost here has ~5k more str than it should in pvp ?
That means it has ~ 30% more str.
That means it deals ~30% more damage than it should.
That's huge.

320k NONcrit howling blasts , frost fever 40-50k noncrit, sindra 90-140k... very blizzlike huh? Dk need a fix, i dont blame this class, i know its a glass cannon that should hit like a truck but not like that atm Im watching frost dk pvp movies from retail and i dont see any 320k blasts or 140k sindra shit ticks :d Ofc its normal that You defend your class and i understand, but on theeese videos people have hmm 890il(-+), all traits/honor and they were not doing dmg like on freakz(fukk my english haha)

For the Nth time: x% stat in PvP has nothing to do with stats out of pvp. you get x% of the BASE TEMPLATE VALUE as someone said here correctly, I just want to make sure you know it. I am sorry for being afk this whole time, I was charged with implementing the world quests / emissaries, which turned out to be more complicated than I hoped for. now that it's done, I'll return to spell fixing. Another good news, we made dozens of optimizations throughout the whole source, reducing lag significantly, and we are still going on with those optimization. even if it will take a few days, we hope that we can wipe that annoying delay off from the face of the earth, making pvp a lot better (yes I am aware that this is offtopic, just wanted to keep you up to date).

And yes, FDK has way too much strength. All of these will be fixed throughout the course of this and the next day
