Rupturing Roar is the spell that Dominator Tentacle are casting when the tanks are not in their melee range.
The fact that the encounter starts if you come close to them is quite a big issue since you cant start the fight properly. Also, when you get in melee range they still cast the spell.
It should work like this: Cast only if tank/mdps is not in the melee range and interrupt cast if someone gets there in time. At the moment if the cast is in progress and you get close to them they still finish the cast and deal a huge amount of damage.

The mechanic is set-up to force 2 tanks on the encounter, it should not be a certain wipe mechanic.
On mythic you cannot do anything with this bugged mechanic.

This mechanic is only bugged on Mythic difficulty.

  • [FIXED] Prevented Dominator Tentacle to cast Disrupting Roar upon entering in combat, but after 5 seconds this way will allow players to reach its melee range.


The fixes will be live after the next restart

So basically HP of the Tentacles etc are too high.. They are easy to check on your dev server.

#Freakz:
Dominators have 139M HP
Nightmare Horror 330.4M HP
Corruptor 21.8M HP
Deathglare 48.1M HP

#Retail

Dominator 68.54M
Nightmare Horror 162M HP
Deathglare 23.71M HP
Corruptors 10.75M HP

Nightmare Ichors should not be immune to CC, currently they are

Il'gynoth does not lose 33% of his HP after the second eye kill. He loses it only after the first one.
