help please. downloaded full client game runs fine, but keeps downloading in-game.

Hi

so i am facing a problem. i wanted to play the game without DL it. so i went for the 2nd method that was downloading while playing.
and also i started to download the full client via torrent.
now i have the full 50GB game downloaded so i switched to the full client but it behaves the same as "download while playing client" it takes too long to load the environment and other things .. kindly help me how correct this.

also i can't make the data folder uncheck "readonly" it automatically checks itself again. i tried giving it administrative authority. also every pc logon. but it goes to read only by deafult.

Hello. It seems that you have downloaded the game two times, first time being while playing, which is replacing and installing the necessary files already, and the second time being from the torrent. My suggestion is to remove the two copies and then download just the one from the torrent, because it will be faster, I think. About your second problem, I cannot help you at the moment because I do not have my laptop with me at the moment.

Is it showing a tick or just a little square/box?

The square/box means it's disabled, the tick means it's enabled. There's no way for it to show just a blank box. That's kinda weird but it's how Windows works.

hi

thanks for your reply yea i downloaded it 2 times. i deleted the "play while downloding" they were in seperate folders. now i just have the full client. is there any way i can let the game know it is fully downloaded. because it will take me 2 days to DL it again completely. i already have the torrent one all 50 GB of it. but the game does not recognize that its fully downloaded is there any way i can correct it?.
regarding the 2nd problem. its a box "not a tick mark" and i have tried every google trick from permissions to making new folders etc etc.

yes its possible. but the thing is its behaving just like "the play while downloading option" everything is blue and blocked. it takes 5 mins to load a few steps and show quests and buildings and PVE stuff. what i think the launcher is still behaving like "play while downloading" is there any way i can make the launcher recognize that all files are here?? and the launceh picks them up?

deleted my wtf , cache folders. re DL them. deleted them and waited for auto DL by opening the launcher.

I think that you should try uninstalling every version of the game you currently have on your computer, then re-downloading ONLY ONE of the two options, either torrent or DWP (download while playing). In my opinion doing the torrent download will be faster, but if you want to avoid having troubles with installation and misplaced/missing files, choose the second option, but do not download two copies of it.

I hope that it fixes your problem, and it also fixes your second problem, because everybody else's Data folder seems to be working fine when you toggle "Read-Only" on off. If you have any more problems, feel free to reply here or leave me a private message.
