Can confirm. I killed 2 rares and it was 2/3 but when i killed the third one it went back to 1/3

I agree with mlist. The quest is not bug because I complete it 5min ago.

You have to kill 3 rare elite.
The only problem is that each time you kill one, even the 3rd one, the score which appear on your screen is always 1/3, but when you kill the last one, your quest is complete. Just check your quests list. And you can't kill 3 times the same mob.

Yep that’s how quest work, you explained it quite well but this quest here is bugged for a few. Might be because I’m using 64bit launcher, I will try 32bit now.

Just yesterday i helped 2 of my guildmates do this quest (because i have fly). They did say that the q is bugged and the kills did not cont, but after they killed 3 different rare elites, and relogged, the q was complete.

It's not a visual bug.
The quest doesn't work, i have the same problem
I had kill the same rare elite for 3 times, i had try to kill different rare elite, i had reload, ecc ecc But nothing!

FIx ASAP please.

Killed Felcaller Zelthae 4 times and it counted two times. I killed Felmaw Emberfiend and the quest reseted saying that I have 1/3.
Edit: The problem seems to be the visibility of mobs, similar to the cache quest. Freakz database says elites are spawned but are not visible for me. Flamecaller Zelthae and Felmaw Emberfiend are always visible and spawn after 10 mins or faster. I completed the quest after killing Doombringer Zar'thoz as the 3rd elite. The green skull poped up when I passed by his spawn location so I waited for him to respawn. After ~1 hour I was able to kill it.

It works but you have to kill 3 different elite rares, you can not farm the same one 3 times.
It is just visual bug when it shows 2/3 for same one, it is actually 1/3 no matter how many times you farm the same mob.

Today i killed 1 rare elite 3 times . At the first kill i get 2/3 cause i killed a couple of rare elites before and at the second kill i didn't get any information about quest progress , same thing was after killing elite third time
