Best Ranged Damage Dealer PvE

Hi, I'd like to know what do you guys think is the ranged class that does more damage in PvE encounters (M+, Raids).

Hello. In my opinion, every class that you are able to play well, and at end-level gear, will do good DPS. As long as you play what you seem fit for you. There is more than one class that tends to do more than the others, so I will just tell you to choose whatever you like. You won't be disappointed.

That's a good point mate but I think it's 100% true only on retail. Here it's known that there are classes that have something not working that makes them do less damage than others and classes that do way too much damage. I just played melee all my WoW carreer so I dont really know ranged or have any preferences and wanted the fotm ranged here to do some serious dmg in PvE. Ty for your time bro. [/quote]

It has been my experience from playing on several private servers that Hunters in particular are quite challenging to get working exactly like retail. Because they rely quite a lot on their pet and pet pathing is quite challenging to implement flawlessly.

So, probably not a Hunter, on any private server.

Arcane Mage is a good, safe bet. In Legion it has a fairly straightforward approach, relying on relatively few abilities and procs. So, it can be assumed to be reliable no matter what. I don't have personal experience with Arcane Mages on WoW Freakz but given the fact that the classes I do have experience with (DK and DH) do seem to work as expected, I am going to assume Arcane Mages are in fact in a good place here.

same answers as above, however recently the classes ive seen that have easier time toping dps have been warlock and hunter, however keep in mind that all depends on circunstances, on aoe fights its not uncommon to see boom druids or mages toping the charts. so just pick the class you like more
