You are showing Chain Lightning Overload damage in ss, which is 1.45M, while that guy on retail did 1.56 at 931. Not really good for the point you're trying to make.

He is referring tho the actual total damage done by LR on retail compared to freakz. 283m freakz vs 154m retail. Him having chain lightning overload highlighted means nothing.

About that 7 mil lightning rod hit, on retail when you chain lightning a pack of mobs the lightning rod will take a single hit that is the total damage combined from all targets hit by CL, on freakz i assume it gets individual smaller hits from each target hit by the CL so dont try to dramatize like you arent doing damage, its basically the same shit except you dont get to see 1 huge number, you see many smaller ones.

Ok, let's take a look at this. The guy on retail, let's call him Shajinka, did roughly 327M dmg with his CL and LB and 154M with LR. That means Lightning Rod did 47% of Shajinka's CL and LB. Now Sparkyzz here, with way more intelect and stats, did about let's say 80M with CL and LB, because you can't see LB overload in that ss but let's assume it's at least 11M, while his LR did roughly 28M. Now math says that Sparkyzz LR did only 35% dmg of his CL and LB and let's not forget his gear is way superior.
So the conclusion should be, LR does less damage than it should, but no, if you test it you get the right numbers, 40% of LB or CL dmg.

Logs are not a good source for proof if you think something is wrong number wise, use simc to prove it.
