Bug description: If you use item "Artifact Research Compendium Volume I-VII" (Gain Artifact Knowledge LV 40) before do the quest. You can't research work order to complete the quest.
(The choice for begin Research work is gone)

I also believed that it happen for hitting-the-books of ALL class not just Warlock.

While this is correct, it's pretty much irrelevant, as this quest is a loose end with no follow-up, nor is it required for anything.

It's a one-time breadcrumb quest only there to inform you about the possibility that you can research stuff, it's not required for the actual questchain progress and can be ignored.
