Hello,
Are you sure that you haven't resetted your recount? Trinkets do not proc in RBG or Arenas. I was skeptic about it but I tested it nonetheless. Not a single proc.

Hello! Yes this is fresh Details! windows, as you can see targets are only players. The mage is my brother and we both joined this bg. Before we join, he was in a LFR (the new wing) and they wiped on first boss and everybody left the raid, when he was out of the raid instance and not in group, I invited him and we both que into bg. The strange thing was when he joined the bg he had a debuff "Frost Stasis" and animation like ice block, he couldn't move until the buff wore off ( 15s, non-dispellable). That's the whole story...and it's not a visual or addon bug, i checked the dmg on his comp while he was playing.. the trinket was doing real dmg there

I wasn't really able to reproduce it. I tried using it in a RBG but I didn't get a single proc. Any more details that could prove helpful?

As of right now he is doing some bgs and the trinket is not proccing. I guess it was just a random glitch that happened there. Thing im not sure is if he had any debuffs from the raid encounter when he joined my group and we insta joined bg. I guess you can close the topic. If I find a way to reproduce it , I will open a new topic with more info. For now i have no idea what could have been the thing that let this happened.
