Question about raiding.

I haven't played this game since Mist of Pandaria and decided to start a new character in Legion, but I have a question. Are raids still a relevant part of the PVE game? Or people do something else to get PVE gear?

Raids are mostly used to get Relics/Trinkets and set pieces, of course you can get other good items as well. There is the so called "mythic plus difficulty" from which you can easily accuire very good items as well. If you have any more questions feel free to ask.

One more question. Are the PVP and PVE gear sets still separated? Or do players use the same armour set both in pve and pvp?

Hello GreenRazz,

Technically there are separate sets for PvP and PvE, however, PvP is based entirely on itemlevel. What items you're wearing exactly does not matter.

All of your stats are based on pre-defined template, you can't influence them in any way.

Therefore there is absolutely no different in PvP whether you're using PvE or PvP items, you should always wear the highest possible itemlevel in each slot, even if those items would have bad stats for PvE. (Due to stats on items not counting at all in PvP)
