Bug description: Most if not all %hp based abilities deal ridiculously high dmg in pvp, 2-3 times more than they should, gpyro hits for 100k+, fel lances (rain from above DH) hit for 50k each, Touch of Death dmg is absurd but only in combat log / details, not sure if real dmg is correct or not.

Are you playing a tank perhaps ? Because blizzard made tank take 50% increased damage in PvP environments and the damage itself can be modified if you have a debuff on you that increases damage taken.

I've answered the topic about Fel Lance here. I'd suggest you take some of the modifiers in mind and if you still find that there are bugs regarding this, you display sufficient proof about it.

I agree that those% damage should not benefit from mastery, u said fel lance benefit from Mastery: Demonic Presence , it shoudn't, it only effect on 4 spells are Fel Eruption, Chaos Strike, Mana Break, Chaos Nova (https://www.wow-freakz.com/spells.php?spell=185164&&name=mastery-demonic-presence) not fel lance, % is %, I use cremation (warlock pvp talent) deal 3% HP each hit, although i have high mastery (Mastery: Chaotic Energies- increase 40% spell dmg) but it still 3% HP each hit. not more.

Actually, it should benefit from % damage increases such as versa/other modifiers, but it should also take into consideration damage reduction cds (PS for example).

where the DH is spamming fel lance into a 329k HP war, hitting it for ~25k damage, that is roughly 7.5%of HP.

Abilities that deal damage as flamelance (%) should have their base damage based on %hp, then should be increased by modifiers (mastery/versa etc). but in the same time being reduced by modifiers

When you open our database for Fel Lance and check *modified by* , you will see that it does benefit from the Passive.

when warr have 329k, 2 hit 23.428 (~7,2%) and max is 24,844 (~7,5%),
I played 2s arena today, my HP 188k but fel lance max hit 19,1k (~10,2%) hp, his total dmg after long time pvp 41% is fel lance, i checked on skada

you guys are lucky that hunter's Sniper Shot is bugged here and has it's damage not affected by damage increasing modifiers
on retail it could hit up to 40-50%

today pvp in skirm, i got 1 shot, i have 183k hp, minimum hit 15,5k (8,5%hp), maximum hit 20,2k (11%) hp, if dh deal full 7 hit = 70% HP for braindead spell

Im just gonna reject this topic since mage part is completely irrelevant , Gpyro properly deals damage it isn't affected by any modifiers except from target having berserk on them which increases their dmg taken or DH debuff that makes them take increased damage, debuffs are the only thing that affects it and also huge numbers are on tanks only since tanks take 50% increased damage in PvP also gpyro is properly reduced by spells that make you take less damage like prot aura or versa etc etc.. And for DH part you have to make seperate topic and mark it for Demon Hunter but yea mage works as intended.So make a new separate topic for DH. Rejected.
