How to reproduce this bug EXACTLY? This never happened to me.

I'm not really into warlocks but I think it's the issue that Shadowflame is a BUFF on the target and can be dispeled.

This was an issue where it was a buff and it was fixed it maybe just visual for that also try tracking using TMW or maybe WA for a clear view also when you caz Hand of Gul'Dan and the shadow flame debuff doesnt show up you are still get damage ticks from it.

Look again in the video . At 0:11 i've casted hand of gul'dan and the snadow flame dot appeared , at 0:12 the first tick ( in the right mu MSBT sayes that 6980 shadowflame dmg ) and at 0:15 i cast again hand of gul'dan , the dot apears again but this time it lasts . At 0:29 i've casted again hand , but this time it dissapears again ...

here i tested it out 4 times and you can also see the TMW that pops up when i have the debuff active. If u can reproduce the bug it would be nice

i've managed to reproduce it .. it looke like https://www.wow-freakz.com/spells.php?spell=42208&&name=blizzard is the problem .. When the mag start to cast it the dot vanishes ... :

well right now i am killing elites on Timeless isle and i am not able to reproduce the bug at all it maybe character specific maybe a gm can test and reproduce it.

I found out a way to reproduce this bug, when you slow the target the Shadowflame debuff gets removed.
