Bug description: I dont know where i should post this and i dont have neither time or patience to read every rule here. Last days something happened with Gettiku sword, a lot of ppl just top up dmg in arenas with it. I dont think i need more proof than few ss. No item should deal more dmg than any of your abilities, just sayin. This is a game breaking thing and should get fixed asap. Thanks.

I've seen that on a few guys that have it and noticed on details that the dot gettiku applies was on top of all the abilities which is kinda weird, asked him about it and he said its pure luck ...okay..

Also, i think this is some kind of exploit. When I tried to test Gettiku, they proc is low af. Same for my arenas partener. I think there is a glich or something.

I am looking into the weapon proc damage/rppm but without much evidence coming from the players it is not exactly helpful. Could you pleaase provide us with either recordings or detailed screenshots taken in game to highlight the damage done per tick, total number of ticks and perhaps the stats of the player who is using the sword? Any damage increase modifiers (E.g. Avatar) will also increase the damage of the ticks. The damage scales with versatility and if you are fighting against a 423 full vers/haste player, then that is reflected in the total amount of damage done per tick, as well as the RPPM due to haste. To make this easier please bring any evidence that you can find, as well as any retail proof if there is any.

I dont always have time for testing or recording arenas. It is very clear that something is wrong there. I looked on some youtibe vids from blizz and not a single war, dk si retri didnt have that dot as top dmg.
Also, I think is less pain for you to test every aspect as gm/ dev/ tester.

This video is from 8.3.5 and you can clearly see this sword deal 96k damage over 12 seconds(it mean around 8k per tick). In this video they have more stats than freakz's players. Then, with buff(like Avatar) they can crit around 20k-25k. Actually, on this server, with 8.1.5 gear and 8.3.5 mechanics of stats, a 423 warrior can unleash 20k+ per tick on full burst. I still don't have a proof to show right now, but if i will meet again the same warrior, i will take a screenshot and post it here.

Avatar does NOT increase the dmg of the getikku nor should any buff, the dmg is only affected by ilvl, versa, crit chance and crit dmg.

@ warbike The bleed ticks once every 3 seconds not every second so its not 8k per tick, its 24k non-crit in the video you posted. Also in your video asmon has 1.92% versa and the pvp guys around here run over 20%.

@hbrake you play with a warrior partner it seems, how often you've seen that for happening for him? as for proof you should show more detailed proof like number of ticks, dmg per ticks, bleed uptime, his uptime on a target, even rng, etc... , there are alot of variables to be taken into consideration and the picture you posted give us close to no info related to your report.
Dont drag the discussion towards warrs since it clearly works correctly for them, also dont drag the discussion elsewhere from the main focus of the report. Keep the discussion on topic, ty.

Hello again. @mighty my war partner had only 1-2 procs per arena, and the dmg was bellow 50k dmg. I didnt enter any arenas since i post this thing, but i will and i will try to post more details. I hope you understand my point of view about getting just a hit and getting under 50% HP frustration. I dont hate wars or anything, maybe just rets.

I can help you with testing, but I must assure you that the weapon is not bugged, but the stats you can reach with 423 ilvl and sockets boosts its reliability. On retail 8.1, you would have had around ~10-14% versa and way lower haste than you can run here. Right now, the weapon does ~14k normal hits and ~22k cirts on my 423 DK

Do note that the overall damage done is variable, due to: comps I am facing (vs range specs hunt/ele I have lower uptime, thus lower procs), while vs melees, I have much more uptime.

Also, what you should take into consideration regarding proc chance is that I am using x2 Overwhelming Power + Unholy assault which doubles the proc chance with the amount of haste they give to me.

It works correctly overall. It is normal for warriors to have lower overall damage on Gettiku vs DKs since I can Kite a warrior 24/7, thus lowering the uptime by a lot. Also as I mentioned, as DK you have much more haste Steroids which increases the proc chance (60% haste with overwhelming and Unholy assault https://imgur.com/a/UrBsIA4)

I just don't know how it wasn't so op in last patch since we were supposed to be on these numbers since start. Did it get changed? If so why are only some things gettin changed (under the radar btw)?
The tooltip scales with ilvl, this is base in the screenshot. This is why you should have path to patch changes at least on some stuff.

So Migtys tooltips says 10k over the base and by simple comparing 9.1.5:9.2 = x:47k you get abut 11k. So in 8.1.5 (currently) it should do 11k damage but it does 4 times more.

And than my boi Mighty comes to my glimmer post and says how i want to be on top of the meters and how i want my class to be op and how everyone is having a hard time. Right.
I got mad writing this, anyways, it won't get changed cus if it does "there are other classes that would want the same" right?

https://imgur.com/a/VOnlwpP this is the bleed effect, gettiku bleed last 12s and it bleeds every 3s for 11885 so u have 11885 x 4 ticks(3s+3s+3s+3s=12s, the total duration of the bleed) = 47540 dmg, ok bud? U are in the wrong here, manage your anger.
@amnezx this wasnt a suggestion it was bugged for dks, the idea was if there is something wrong with the rppm or some sort of glitch/exploit mechanic to it, ppl shouldnt drag the discussion elsewhere from the main idea of the report and so we can investigate more about. Maybe just more infos related to the original idea of the report.
