[upper/lower kara] Loot tables are swapped or shared (not seperate)

Bug description: If you look at my activity feed you will see several upper kara mythic runs completed but the loot that drops is always lower kara loot. I have also posted the item finder links for some of the lower kara items i found in upper kara to prove that they shouldnt be dropping in upper. Either the loot tables are swapped or they arent seperate. Either way the loot table for both upper and lower kara is bugged

upper kara drops lower kara loot, i haven't done a lower key recently and i can't say if the vice versa also happens but this one is for certain

Ran upper kara again today and got a relic a fire relic from lower kara....

Its been weeks of running this dungeon and receiving loot from a totally different dungeon. Is this ever going to be addressed?

I can confirm that completing an upper key sometimes drop loot from lower, however it does not mean that you will never get loot from upper bosses by doing an upper key. To my experience, it seems that the loot you get from the chest are shared and random from the entire Return to Karazhan instance, regardless of doing upper or lower. Also, I can't the find any retail proof stating that loot should not be shared, but individual - upper loot from upper keys, etc.

So that's why the title of this thread says, "swapped or shared". I didnt say that you couldnt get upper loot in upper kara. But if they're shared then its diluting the loot table of the other wing on both sides of kara, making it harder to get the loot you are farming there. That was not in retail. You may not have been able to find any proof that kara has separate loot tables in retail but I did. Found this reddit post that said, "On mythic+ or random HC it's split into 2 parts: upper and lower. Upper are Curator, Medivh, Mana Devourer and Viz'aduum. Lower are Opera Event, Maiden, Moroes and Attumen. Obviously, when running mythic+ the chest also only awards loot from the respective bosses of each wing." bumping in hopes of higher priority, having a lower chance at getting Eye of Command from upper because of some shared or swapped loot from lower is really disheartening to read. I'm sure most people with dps specs would like to see this fixed so they can get to farming more efficiently

Thanks to the people who are supporting this thread. I'm glad to see that there are so many people willing to voice their concerns about this bug. Not sure if the devs will ever address it but I'm sure even more people will come forward to share their experiences with this really annoying bug. I think I'll be avoiding kara for a while to be honest but hopefully we will see some progress in getting this bug addressed and ultimately fixed.

so people keep telling me that upper and lower share a loot table but every time i run upper i only get lower kara loot. Now maybe im just unlucky even though this shouldnt even be a problem because the loot tables werent intended to be shared. But here's even more proof of only getting lower kara loot there. Can something please be done about this already.

As you can see from the armory, and the screenshot, after finishing the upper key, the chest that dropped is from Medivh.

Lol that's from 2 months ago. Have you tested it out lately? And even if there is still a minor chance of getting upper loot from upper kara, the fact that the chances of getting lower loot from upper kara are huge still is not how its supposed to be and needs to be fixed regardless.

İ have 143 upper kara runs for nearly 1.5 months and i can agree that upper kara drops lower gear i seen only few pieces dropped so far

I still don't see a single proof that upper kara didn't also drop lower kara loot on retail and vice versa - because, it's one and the same dungeon after all.
They only split mythic+into two separate keys because it would take too long to complete.
