How about fixing the server lag before releasing new content?

There was no epic update, we simply changed the way traffic goes on different route/connection. We do appreciate your input and we are asking kindly to provide us accurate information which will help to improve the quality .

Latencys into servers outside your home country which are below 200ms are ok, no matter what game u are playing.

I was reading all the replies on this thread, and i think some persons are confusing two different situations.

Developing new content is one thing, and connectivity issues are another story. I understand the concern of many players having high latency, - im connecting from Southamerica, and along with some Asian friends we have the worst lag spikes on our guild-.

But my point is this, stopping the scripting work will not solve the problem with the lag. As Shocker said, he is aware of the problem, and already explained that lag is due to ISP problems/flooding/hosting/policies, etc... This is a matter that must be solved with the ISP representatives; meanwhile, i don't see how stopping the work of developers will help to solve the lag.

Again, i understand the frustration of players who cannot raid or pvp with the best latency, but careful with what you ask guys.

Hey guys!

I live in Estonia and sometimes the server is unplayable. (Exodus)
If I sit in Stormwind or Elwyn I have 90 ms. As soon as I go to arena / battleground, it goes up to 250. Same goes with dungeons.
Out of arenas / bgs / dungeons everything is fine but as soon as you join any of them, you simply want to smash your keyboard.
Shockeru maybe you can look into this.

BTW the best place to host a server is Germany or Netherlands.
As much as I have played FPS games (5 years in top of European leagues in HL2:DM) I can assure you that German and Dutch servers are the best.

Hi, I am long-term Freakz player (I played 1 year in evoulution and after that went in exodus to play in non-ro speaking server). I havent had so many issues before with your servers as starting 2 days ago (on wednesday).:
*Constant lag spikes ,although I have new router, PC and connection is overlooked by provider.
*ms has been since wednesday 120-700ms (And sometimes I see 3 second delays) so it is kinda unbearable.
Before MagMaw update server had max 700players, now I see 900+ players online (dunno if this may be the case but usually lag starts with many players online -for me-). I dont think making screens would give you any information cuz this is for real constant and 3rd day having this kind of gameplay makes me feel like it is never going away.

I dont know if you even see this post but I like Freakz and hope lagfree gameplay.

outside bgs/raids.. 200-300 .. as soon as i get into a bg/raid it can spike up to 6k

Edit: I just got dc'd in a BG again.

I got server DC 3 times today. But the lag seems to be fixed.

Power outage on all servers, going back online as soon as possible. Sorry for the downtime.


Server will not be online for at least 15 minutes, maybe more, the power outage caused huge problems.
