still back in the days when we all played on genesis was lot more fun, we used to hate alterac valey cause we were playing it all day long, when was the last time you played av on exodus ?

Well, after Freakz updated to 4.3 I gave up with AV due to the fps bug when people spread, which is rather inevitable.
Also it wasn't so much fun back then to me... Everyone speaking in "strange language" I cannot understand, and Hate-Mode ON whenever you asked team to speak english, but I guess they were right about that one, it was RO server by definition and we were just guests on Genesis. Anyways, we already have our own realm, but the forums still seems to be romanian, and english section is just a poor addition to it.

Mate even bug tracker, class - related discussions is in Ro. For me it's just impossible to know what is going around in Freakz. This English section is a joke.

why dont you just enable transfering from exodus to genesis and back? Just a database script to transfer the hero?

I dont know, why they dont make a full PvP realm..without dungeons..and other things, just like AT but in Freakz style!

We're making it just as we speak, but it won't be open access at first. At least not until we feel confident with the way PvP balance works.

We will use it for PvP events, (held by our brand-new event GM, Zypher).

Yeah I can imagine Freakz pvp server. If you not donating you can only get cata gear. But if you donate you can skillcap yourself with Gurth, Kiril and all that other shiat.

It can be done, you just have to rewrite almost the entire core.
Basically the way that it's done now is like this:
-There is a logon server that just handles user logins and tells the client what realms are available
-And then there is the world server that does everything else.

So, if you could make a third server that just handles player data and instancing and then make the world servers talk to this new server for obtaining player and instance info.
However that would add latency and a shitload of processing overhead that doesn't need to exist.
So, doable but not worth the effort.

Well, you couldn't put it better.

A workaround might be another separate machine, but let's not fool ourselves... That's not an option when it comes to Freakz. And I'm not talking strictly about the finances. The key word is not even "good will" but simply "will".
