Honestly the only difference of having a single realm would be having all characters into one DB, which is leading to heavier queries and requires a higher CPU calculation power, despite of actual situation, seeing two realms into different DBs, maybe even different machines. I refuse to think thay can't afford a decent CPU for that anyway. If you guys have better ideas i'm happy to support them.

In other words, it doesn't really matter if 75% of the players think we shouldn't merge the realms. There are priorities and I'm pretty damn sure that having a populated and active realm goes way above the global channels and name ''issues''.

So if those "75%" amount of players don't like the merging and a majority of them decide to leave, the situation would be worst.

They can't make that decision without consulting the players.

Yes they can. It would just be worse to keep the situation as it is. Because we are just dying slowly. So, ok we would be winning some time waiting for a miracle to happen.

It would better to merge and lose players in the process (and i really doubt that would be the case).

Plus, in freakz's history, they really haven't consulted us on such decisions.

Goob job Zohl for adding cross-faction RDF Finder option It looks pretty well,really hope the queues will drastically increase.Now would be great if u add that to battlegrounds.

I rly doubt cross-faction rdf will do any good, since it's the same on both sides - shitloads of deepses, quite a number of heals and almost NONE tanks in rdf. Merging realms, i believe, would make much bigger impact.

Well combined we will have 3 tanks more 4 healers and even more dpses,it's still an improvement ... better than nothing

The problem is not in numbers of players, but in roles ratio. We'd just have same number of ppl in one pool (not spread) with the same number of actual instances going on. Amazing improvement.
It'd be better with cross faction bgs as there's no roles, you need just virtual flesh and bone and there's rly high difference in ppl queueing bgs in different hours. But then there's a point Vince pulled out - anyone knows a word 'lore' ? If cross-factioned rdf seems fine (in fact we're all fighting same bosses, no problems with temporary alliance in case of higher good), the neverending war between two factions which include large number of traitors on both sides seems awkward to me.

So, when will realm merge happen ?

I think you should better make vote about merging realms, not about crossfaction bgs. Imo one realm is the best way to deal with low population (on exodus mainly)
