PvE Event suggestion

Yo,
since dragon soul 8/8 is scripted and released in both normal and heroic now i thought I'd bring up an idea for a "new" pve Event. Since Dragon Soul was released boss by boss , meaning u had plenty of months to gear cap before a new Boss got released, its not really considered real progress. So my idea for a PvE Event would be : Open Evolution for registered 10/25 man raid teams. Those teams get BiS Fireland gear as starting gear. For a limited time you open the realm and after that time the Guild/raid group with the most/fastest progress simply wins the Event.
This Event would have no advantages for donors, meaning equal chance for everyone.

Well it's a nice idea imo ... but it takes alot of time and all that kind of stuff... still i think that alot of players would love the usual 10h speed run event since now there are all the bosses...And it will be good if you could do that in like 2-3 weeks so more guilds can join the event...I mean they need to get used to madness and all that kind of stuff cuz not every guild 1 shoots madness..

It's not a real progress if u already have guides to guide u through it, so even if the gear gets scaled that still won't be a true progress as in the world 1st kills on retail and even if they decide to do that shit which I highly doubt, then it still won't be about who the better guild is but who is the guild willing to play for days with no break.

that's a really nice idea.
but I think something like a speed run in only fl gear would be better.
this way, it won't be about which guild spends more time in ds.

tournament realm could be used, just need to add a few gear vendors.
